Mayne!!! This album was killing everything & anything when it came out. This was pure gangsta crunk before the rest of the country knew anything about the word "crunk". Pat laced up real tight with this album, the production, done by juicy & paul was TOP NOTCH! If you didnt bob your head to any of thease songs then go see a doctor, FAST! ALL THE SONGS ARE STRAIGHT GANGSTA!!! He didnt have any features outside of the THREE SIX CAMP, so your getting a 100% HIPNOTIZE MIND'Z PRODUCT! if you never really were up on Three 6 MAFIA THIS ALBUM IS A GREAT INTRODUCTION TO THEM Even if it isnt a group album. This album will make you go back & peep their earlier work.
If I had to highlight one song off the album it would be "Aggravated robbery" it uses a sample off the movie "carlito's way" when sean penn the crooked lawyer is walking out of the prison. Its in incredible way how they sampled it up & just crunked it up!

This was the first Project Pat album I heard and I loved it. He spits straight gangsta rap and he shows hes not to be played with. He got real big off that Chickenhead single. Pick this one up if you like Three 6 or dirty south rap.

One of the greatest Dirty South Albums.You can listen without skipping a track.Some of my fav. tracks are chicken head,whole lotta weed,If You Ain't From My Hood,Break Da Law 2001,Y'all N****z Ain't No Killaz, Y'all N****z Some H**s, We Ain't Scared H** ,Aggravated Robbery (my fav.), and North North .A must have for any rap fan.

Pat is ruthless! I dont think i ever heard of a rapper robbin chicks! lol Thas on the track "Aggreavated Robbery"

If you dont listen to much down south music, you'll have to get used to this first. Pat has a flow thas annoying at first. But the beats are so hot u start to listen to what he's sayin, and u know he is one of the best.

Produced by Slade's Noddy Holder and Jim Lea, Play Dirty Diplayed a Much More Refined and Commercial Quality. This was to Be Conscious Decision by the Band in an Attempt to Be Seem as a More Professional Sounding Unit. The Singles, '20th Century Boy' (A Cover of the T-rex Classic) and Compositions Written by Holder and Lea ('high and Dry' and "Burning in the Heat') Showcased a Glam Style which Added Keyboards and Displayed Openly the Girls Desire for Furhter Chart Reward. This Remastered Version Adds Bonus Tracks and New Versions of 'don't Call it Love' and the ZZ Top Classic, 'tush'.

      Both tracks are fine and as raunchy as Khia's music. Yo Baby Daddy complements Play Wit It as a great b-side track. This CD is well worth the price. However, most of the tracks are available on the album. You can take your pick.

        Aage Haugland is fantastic, also as a narrator, but the tempos are way too fast on this recording. This is not what Stravinsky wrote. All the marches are written in tempo 112 and this is more like 120!! The recorded sound is very good and the musicians are excellent.

        don't know what to pronounce this. Seem to me that the 2nd single "Play" (off from David Banner's CERTIFIED) has been overrated to me IMO. I try to like that song, but it's been a lil' off the guard or way too quick, I mean the beats are ok, the lyrics are aight and stuff, but it needs alot of pulling, alot of action, maybe a lil remix too add. No hard feelings but not my type'a song, not on my list yet.

        D.J. screw was a pioneer in the Southern rap movement. His screwed and chopped music changed the face of rap in the South. Many heads across the world are bobbin'to the hypnotic, slowed beats this man produced. Unfortunatly, DJ Screw passed away of a heart atack last week at the young age of 30. This loss is tremendous to the many Screw fans around the globe. This album is one of the few to be distributed. Most of his best work is on underground albums. Buy this album, play it, remember Screw. He created more tham music. He created a slower way of living.

If you are from back east, or out here in the west, this might be an acquired taste, but it is way tight after you've heard it a bit. If you are from the south, then either you know how tight Screw is, or you are extremely sheltered and need to get the $&%@ outside more often! What this album is all about is some classic Texas rap cuts, but slowed down and mixed so you can really soak in the lyrics and beats. Beware of imitators, there is only ONE DJ Screw. If you can, pick up his underground tapes. Being from Portland, it's hard to get ahold of Screwed material. Just get the album, and get to that other level, then listen. Trip out your friends by bangin Screw in your ride when you roll downtown! (Also pick up Lil' Keke, Botany Boys, or Yungstar)
