    Customer Reviews:

    5 out of 5 stars best emo/metalcore cross over!.......2004-04-01

its poetic brutal and most of all one of the best put together cds EVER shame its out of print at alot of places and alot of copies only play 8 of the 9 tracks like my cd! but never mind its still one of the best cds EVER!

5 out of 5 stars THE best band on Eulogy........2003-07-07

Amazing metalcore album. A very original style, too... emo-ish(but alot darker) lyrics, and metalcore and hardcore music. Kyle Borchgardt's vocals are nothing short of amazing. I also like the production, here too. I love the way guitarists Ken Sulak and Aaron Mitchell's guitarwork is blended together and all of the sudden will break apart into two totally different riffs and UGH, just get the cd. It's nothing short of amazing. My current favorite band. It's only too bad I found out about them too late. A Girl Named, It Doesn't Make Me Ten Again, and Unseen or Unscene are my personal favorites, I guess I can relate to them most. Just check these guys out you will thank me.

    5 out of 5 stars ...EXCELLENT.......2003-04-03

This is one fine album! The audio is not extremely good, i mean it is cool, but its just different sounding. its not very loud i think. the guitars arent like totally blasting, but what these guys have done is just awesome. they have some sick breakdowns too! if you like atreyu type belching, with in flames guitars and cannibal corpse crazy drums then this is for you baby!

5 out of 5 stars Brutality thy name is Red Roses for a Blue Lady.......2001-01-26

Blending elements of fast-tempo noise-core, pounding metal riffs, and soft melodies, Red Roses for a Blue Lady's debut album "Return to Melancholy" on Eulogy records truly takes it's place as a hardcore masterpiece. A passionate, emotional bonecrusher, this album will take you all over the musical map. Far beyond generic emo-core, R.R.F.A.B.L (named after a Wayne Newton album I think?) takes pained, honest lyrics--sung with searing vocals drenched in pure emotion--and combines it beautifully with a thundering wall of tight, precise musicality, uncommon in most other hardcore bands today. This is definitely an album that will stay in your CD player for a long time. if you're a fan of Drowningman or Countervail this record is a must.

4 out of 5 stars Very heavy and brutal hardcore release.......2000-07-18

Red roses for a blue lady's new cd "return to melancholy" is a nine song hardcore feast. This cd is one of the best noise core releases, with obvious influences from converge and cave in but it still sounds original. The songs are pure emotion ranging form family disputes to relationship trobles. i love it!
