BAD @$$!.......2005-03-04
If you like Dying Fetus or anything heavy get this ep now! The re recorded version of the song "grotesque impalement" is highly addictive and shows what this band can do with kevin tally, the man is one sick drummer. The cover of baphomet's "streaks of blood" kicks major A$$ as well. They also re record the song "tearing inside the womb" I never cared much for that song until I heard it on this cd. Kevin tally turned this once mediocre song.. in to one of my favorite dying fetus songs! I have said enough, buy this cd NOW!
Dying Fetus: Their finest piece.......2004-12-04
In my opinion, this album is the pinnacle of the band's career. They now act as a brutal metal band these days, with vocals that have spit... no... vomitted blood on their glorious past. Well, Dying Fetus fans, now's your chance to take a step back in time, and see the album that defined the band that reinvented the genre.
The vox on this album are by far the best you'll ever hear if you dig them deep grunts... I know, I know, there's bands out there that can go deeper, with more gargle/beast like roar, but they sound like trash, and their vocals really don't fit with the music anyway. With Dying Fetus you get the best Death Metal for their time, and vox that could make any current death grunter shudder.
The C R A W L I N G sensation that defines Streaks of Blood will change you. Try not to grin as you are sent into a world of new sensations, all of which leading you to believe that you actually could get away with that killing spree you've been putting off for so... very long.
