Customer Reviews:
a great goth-rock release.......2006-12-13
Sunless days is a beautifully written Gothic rock/metal album from one of the best in the genre- Beseech. Comparisons could be made to other bands like Lacuna Coil, simply for the fact that they are fronted by male and female lead vocalists, but essentially that's where the similarities end. Beseech's music is more about the overall sound of each song, rather than being all about the main riff, or focusing on singing. Each instrument blends perfectly to create a hauntingly flowing melody. The male vocals are amazingly deep, reminiscent of Peter Steele (Type O Negatve), and contrast the female vocals like i've never heard before from another band. After you buy this, check out the previous release, "Drama". More excellent goth metal!!!

Not The 5-Star Performance I'm Used To.......2007-03-13
I started this album expecting to be as amazing as Souls Highway as I thought Drama was more or less at par with it. I somehow thought that since Drama did not seem to be the next plateau for the band, they would have reached it in this album.
I also had no idea that the band had split up, and in hind sight, I think that fact may lend to the stale taste of their progression in recent years.
A great album, but it left me waiting for more... sadly, this is no longer possible in the near future.
