5 out of 5 stars Another outstanding album from a grossly underrated band........2003-08-14

Enthroned just cannot go wrong. They just seem to have a natural knack for putting out exciting, high quality Black metal albums that are brimming with talent and skill. Sabbathan's bass is precise and audible, and Nornagest's brutal guitar playing never ceases to amaze me. The production of this album is surprisingly clean for a Black metal band (who happen to have a very underground status). They have a truly unique sound that bears little if no resemblence to Marduk (contrary to what some negative minded critics have said). Including this one, I don't think they've ever released a weak album. That's what I love about Enthroned. It's as if the term "filler" is foreign to them. All the tracks on this album are heartfelt works of brutal art, but I feel that the very best tracks are "Boundless demonication", "Spawn from the abyss", and "Infernal flesh massacre". Anyone who wants talented, no nonsense Black metal should at least give this a try. I did, and afterwards, I was very pleased. Another great album from a great band!
