awesome 70's Rock and Roll.......2005-03-18

I still have this album on the vinyl disc that I bought back in college in 1974. Now I am finally going to order it on cd. Thats how good it is! I have searched all over for a copy and finally found it here. It truly is classic rock and roll from an age that defined real rock. The guitar work is powerful and engaging, you will be playing air guitar along with the songs in no time. For those longing for the days of honest, hard driving, kickin' rock and roll, BUY THIS ALBUM!

Unknown band, killer cd..........2004-11-25

I bought this album when I was kid for a buck from the cutout bin because I thought the cover looked cool. Needless to say even back then I was blown away by the music on Outside The Law. Now into my forties this is a welcome reissue on cd. Great guitar work, solid songwriting(a mixture of classic rock, progressive rock with a lot of melody thrown in) and the total efforts of a band creating their own masterpiece make for a great buy. There probably aren't alot of people who have heard this cd but if you want to add a classic seventies rock cd to your collection then pick this baby up. I already own Epitaph/Stop, Look and Listen on cd. They are good efforts but Outside The Law was the release where Epitaph shined the most. Pick it up!

Lost and Found.......2002-12-12

Epitaph's "Outside the Law" is one of the most profound rock albums of its time. I first ran across this album in 1977 under the Billigsgate label. The guitar work is phenominal. The title track is truly unmatched by the groups later works and its masterful guitar rifts can transport the listener literally Outside the Law! The some tracks on this album reveal an almost German Beatles aura. It is surprising that tunes like "Woman" and "Big City" never made US airplay. I highly recommend this album to anyone who is still stuck in the late 60's and early 70's or desires to be.

Great Guitar Work.......2002-11-17

This cd is not your average european band from the 70s. (ie Focus,Golden Earring, etc.)This band has good range, from ballads to the classic extended double guitar rockers. The fact that this was an import is the only reason this band was not bigger or more well known. A diamond in the rough, and I was pleasantly suprised to find it available on cd.

All I can Say is. Check this CD out. Its a hard to come by item.
And a Classic Rock essential. If you were rocking in the Late 70's you would understand. Good Hunting!!!!
