Product Description
With their latest release on Marilyn Manson's Post Human Records, now is the time to hear where it all started. Power Tool Stigmata' is a REALLY great album with elements of both goth (soft acoustic guitar riffs) and industrial (synthesizers and 'power chords'). It's impossible NOT to find something you like on this CD - there's even a cover of the Beatles' 'Eleanor Rigby'! 14 tracks in all.

5 out of 5 stars If you like Nine Inch Nails to meet Tool...........2005-03-30

This is the first Godhead CD I bought, I think it's awesome. I really would recommend it if you like "Nine Inch Nails" and possibly "Tool" or "Perfect Circle". It certainly has those types of flavors in the songs.

5 out of 5 stars brill.......2004-03-19

I love this album as much as anyone else but to be honest i slightly prefer 2000 years of human error.
Stop slaging off Manson, Linden from san antonio, he didn't ruin godhead and if thats what you think, don't blame him because they will have asked him to join them!
A brill cd and if you are thinking about getting it then you will like it.

3 out of 5 stars Solid release........2003-02-11

Being a part of the audience during Manson's Guns, God, and Government tour led to purchases 2 albums from both the opening acts, one being The Union Underground and the other being Godhead. After giving 2000 years a listen I went and purchased this older release. Power Tool Stigmata has it's peaks and gutters of both good, bad and even unique efforts, but, other than being a solid studio band, Godhead is clearly in their prime when on stage in front of the people. Their live show alone makes them worth mentioning.

1 out of 5 stars nothing that you would expec t.......2002-11-16

Great name, sure, but this band of Manson-ites is not what they appear. If you see a photo of the band, then you will expect to hear a scorching, straightforward metal sound on album, but these guys are not sinister, (though very ugly), or even that loud! A metal band covering the work of the great Beatles is unheard of, and the vocalist is horrible at what he does. The band's playing is OK, but not enough to make up for what the rest of the album shows. Godhead are in no way a band that is what they appear to be. We have a word for bands like this one: POSERS!!!!

5 out of 5 stars A Definate Must Have CD For Godhead Fans.......2002-11-06

I have to admit, I almost didn't buy this CD. I was almost dissuaded by some pretty bad reviews. I'm so glad that I got it anyway, it's one of a kind. Does it ever annoy you when you really like a band and all of their music on every CD sounds the same? Godhead is one of the rare bands that has managed to have a unique and wonderful sound on each album. The songs have a beautiful mixture of programming and guitar, and Jason's voice completes it. The instrumental songs are amazing, the Method shows what he truly can do on Laura's Theme. 2000 Years of Human Error was good, but this is raw Godhead. Godhead without the help of Marilyn Manson, Twiggy, and Reeves Gabriel. All of the bass and programming by the Method, instead of having a guest artist, same thing with the guitar and Mike. If you buy this CD, you will definately get your money's worth out of it.

5 out of 5 stars Godhead fans NEED this album.......2006-09-05

"Power Tool Stigmata" is an essential for any fan of Godhead's latest albums "Evolver" "2000 Years Of Human Error" or the latest "The Shadow Line". This album is Godhead's next effort after their "Nothingness" album; and they show much improvement here. "Nothingness" showed more rage yet simpler drums and instumentation, but this album shows how complex and talented Godhead can be (even when using little to no lyrics at all on some tracks). Godhead shows much advancement in their feild with this album; packed with intensity, anguish, sadness, rage, moodiness, and more!

The instrumental tracks show how creative OTHER members can be besides their frontman (Jason Miller) who handles most of the songwriting. The other tracks like "Memorial" and "Penetrate" are some of Godhead's strongest material, however, and are worth the purchase alone!
