Customer Reviews:
just a fan.......2006-03-05
i cant get enough thunder.back in 1990 i saw the name and bought the cd. it was the best cd i had ever bought to date. Back Street is the best set of 11 songs i have. i still havent took out the best of out of my streo. rock on Thunder...
I'm a fan now for sure..........2004-10-13
First heard these guys a week ago on XM radio with "Dirty Love". I cannot believe I have missed out on this band before now. While reading the other reviews that compare them to Bad-Co and Foreigner I kept thinking "no way" and when I read they could have been the next Led Zepplin I really was surprised. Well it is a shame that they came along so late in that era of Rock. They are simply very, very good. I bought the best of CD and it has already made me want to get the rest of their music to see what I have missed. Get it, buy it, down load it, what ever, if this is your style of music you will love it. It simply doesn't disappoint. How I tuned into Jackyl and missed this is beyond me.
What you've heard's all true!.......2000-06-07
You mean you haven't bought it yet? You mean you haven't bought ANY of their discs yet? Read these reviews, brothers & sisters: Would we all lie to you? CHECK THESE GUYS OUT!
simply the best of the best.......1999-06-11
If you don't know this band - do yourselves a favour...that snide stuff about 'greatest hits when they only got to no.18' is not only very misleading, it's totally inaccurate! This band is the business, and the only reason they aren't more widely known is because they are perfectionists and they refuse to pander to the demands of the giant record companies - plus, admittedly, most of their PR is crap!!! They care about their fans more than any band in the world, and they are SO exciting live you'd just die rather than miss 'em. I've been in love with rock music all my too long life - these boys are right up their with the absolute best. In forty odd years of devotion to the greats of the genre this was the first band that I felt compelled to become a member of the fan club!!!!
Absolutly Essential!.......1999-02-03
The only problem with this compilation.....there is only one disc! Thunder is one of the best hard rock/blues bands out there. They reward us with some great previously unreleased goodies, including "Once in a Lifetime" , a great ballad with a great chorus. Order it now! Get it here. Its hard to find here in the states.....I had to goto London to get mine!
