reaches into your soul.......2006-12-20
This CD as well as Jaime's other Cd entitled Jaime, released in 2004 are both first class musically and rhythymically. Every word is distinct and the message and emotion behind it come through loud and clear. If you are a believer who yearns to know God in a deeper way, this music will reach down into your soul and put a song there. The title track," reason to live" is going to become a classic in a few years. Just discovered this artist by looking through friends of another artist on myspace and WOW how great it is to be surprised like this.
An Awesome CD.......2006-10-27
Jaime Jamgochian is well on her way to becoming an established Worship & Praise artist with the release of her first CD. Her songs convey a heart that yearns to know Jesus at a deeper level, which I believe will connect with many listners as did Point of Grace, Nicole Nordeman and Darlene Zschech. "Hear My Worship" conveys a sweeter and sincere message than I had ever heard. I believe that her songs will touch and enliven the hearts of many Christians. I highly recommend this CD for anyone's Worship & Praise collection.
Very Very Nice.......2006-07-15
I really love the Lyrics of the songs in the cd, most especially the song "Hear my worship" and "You Give me Reason to Live", God Really give us the reason to keep on goin.. i was looking forward to hear more new songs sing by ms Jaime.. goodluck and Godbless

Cindy takes aim at the 'sophomore jinx' and blows it to bits.......1999-07-13
What sophomore jinx? "A Reason To Live", while far from being Cindy's best, is a dramatic improvement over her debut album - especially on the first half. RL had a couple of real clunkers on its first half, and only Cindy's voice salvages them. In contrast, the first two tracks on ARTL, "Picture Me in Paradise" and "Days of Innocence", are very enjoyable, as is the wonderful ballad "Reaching In". The title track and "I Will Be Free" are two more great ballads which highlight the album's second half. The video for "I Will Be Free" copped a Dove award.
Much, Much! Better than her first!.......1998-07-08
I have been listening to Cindy since her debut album, "Real Life." Though now, in retrospect, I find the production in that album overdone, it did keep me coming back for more when "A Reason to Live" was released--especially since I had nothing else to spend my money on. The pop songs on this album are o.k., but the ballads begin to show just how much talent has vocally. "I Will Be Free" and "Reaching In" are knockout performances!
This Is My FAVORITE Female Vocalist!!.......1998-06-17
Yes, it's true, if I had to choose just one artist as my absolute favorite it would have to be Cindy! Her voice is incredible. There aren't even sufficient word for me to use to describe my admiration for this very talented lady. She writes incredible music. She plays incredible piano. She tells an incredible message. You will know what I am talking about if you would just listen to the songs "I Will Be Free" "How Could I Ask For More" "I'll Stand" "Master's Hand" or "Take My Life". All of Cindy's Albums are great, but there is growth in her work. Listen to the transformation that takes place as she first tries to please the producers, then next the audience, and finally herself, all the while pleasing the Lord. I love them all.

Dirty And Gritty.......2003-07-09
This album is like taking a bath in dirt that doesn't come off afterward. Stepping up the songwriting from their last album, Shaman try to take the stoner out of stoner rock by combining Motorhead bass riffs and vocals with southern rock boogie. Dan Kerzwick's rasp works well on the ode to masturbation, "One Good Leg" and the acoustic "The Mill Wheel." There isn't much here to disappoint. "The Horse You Rode In On" and "Our Name Is War" take Amercian desperado ideals galloping straight to your ears. While it may be derivitive, this is real rock - sweat and all.
best rock album ever.......2003-03-13
This is one relentless rock album. It has all the power and emotion of any classic album and then some. The little tribute to cliff Burton is sick! These guys rock.
Giving rock a reason to live.......2002-09-27
On this, their third album, and second for Spitfire Records, Maryland's Sixty Watt Shaman have crafted a record for my generation. Not just for fans of a few select genres, this album is not to be underestimated. Compared to 2000's Seed of Decades, there are some abundant differences...
Needless to say, this album, through songs with constantly-evolving song structures, poetic and poignant lyrics, great riffs from all instrumentalists, even better solos from all, timeless performances and an epic production quality, should be put upon a pedastal for all to see, hear, intake, and follow. I would suggest this album for fans of Pantera, Down, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Stone Temple Pilots, Kyuss, Gov't Mule, Corrosion of Conformity, and too many other bands to list. Perhaps that's why this album might one day be looked upon as the classic it is. When you listen to it, you hear SWS, and yet, through the slightest inference in a riff, tone, lyric, or solo, you remember music you loved from before. That's what great music does. It brings what you loved in the past to where you are now, so you can live it again. Rock, and fans of rock in all it's forms, from jam bands to metal bands, will find something to never forget here. Do yourself a favor and check this out...you won't be sorry.
By the way.......2002-09-24
... I'll just emphasize that "All Things Come To Pass" features Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessed, St. Vitus, Spirit Caravan, Place of Skulls, Hidden Hand, Probot) and Scott Reeder (Kyuss, Unida, The Obsessed, Across The River) and is a killer improv jam recorded on the last day of studio time. ...
Album of the year.......2002-09-24
"Reason To Live" could be rock's savior. It's a return to what rock music is supposed to be -- an escape into groove. Sixty Watt Shaman proves that in the 21st century you don't have to be angry or depressed to rock; you simply need a firm belief that rock-n-roll never dies and confidence in the power of the riff. While on "Seed of Decades" the band seemed to wear its influences on its sleeve, on "Reason" Sixty Watt moves beyond those that came before them and combines it all into one incredible sound. You'll hear AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Clutch, Kyuss, Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Down, but you'll never confuse the Shaman with any of those bands.
"Reason To Live" is 70+ minutes of pure rock-n-roll bliss. An absolute must-have for everybody on the planet.

A great album, now hard to find..........2003-01-15
If you don't know the band Low, this might be a great introduction to their unique style of slo-core music. The trio who hale from Duluth have a dark and beautiful sound that is probably best heard live. This album was recorded in a church in Louisville, Kentucky. The small venue makes for an interesting ambiance: during the first track, you can hear an ambulance go screaming by. The reverb is constant, and immerses you into this wonderful world of Low's creativity. This is not the best release from Low, but I find it to be one of my favorite live albums I own.
This cd presents what is greatest about LOW... the awesome.......2001-10-29
This cd presents what is greatest about LOW... the awesome unique sound they create. The recording is very good. This may be a binaural recording? The audience is nice and quiet. LOW played an excellent set. LOW's sound is so big and beautiful and awesome in this cathedral.
If you like LOW a lot and would like a great recording of them live this cd is a blessing. I am very glad this cd is available. I also suggest this cd as an introduction to LOW because i think an awesome LOW concert is a better intro than a studio album.
I've seen LOW 8+ times. I've never seen them in a cathedral. I've never heard them in as beautiful sounding space as this recording. I consider LOW live one of the wonders of our world.
I feel sleepy... still have to waltz.......2001-01-25
There is no doubt that in the sleepy land of slowcore Low reign supreme... So the question to ask is not whether you'll like this record or not but whether you like slowcore. If the answer is yes then just buy anything whith this band's name on it, you won't be disappointed!
As for those who don't know what slowcore really is about I'll say that it's a minimal, skeletal say some, form of music. Don't expect fast-paced rhythms, the tone is "low" and the melodies linger forever. Something you'll actually wonder whether someone is actually playing...
"One more reason to forget" is a superb live album which was recorded in a church. It might be a good entry point if you aren't familiar with the band!
Low is a great live band and here's the proof.......2000-04-07
This CD is taken from a DAT recording of Low's 11/6/97 performance at the Church of St. Philip Neri in Louisville, KY, and contains material from Songs for a Dead Pilot and The Curtain Hits the Cast, as well as versions of "Venus" and "If You Were Born Today". The band is in fine form (I've seen them three times), and the quality of the recording is quite good, all things considered.
The recording appears to have been made by micing the room, but the audience is plenty quiet enough to make it work, and the added tension of hearing a few restless folks really adds to the experience.
The reason this isn't a five star CD is simple. There is nothing new on this disc! If you're already a Low fan, you already have most of these songs, and the live versions, though excellent, don't stray very far from the studio takes.
If you are new to Low, this is a great place to start. If you are already familiar with the band's catalog, this would be a fine (but not essential) addition to your collection.
