Customer Reviews:
Great to Hear All those great Voices from the Past.......2007-07-05
I just wanted to confirm what the first reviewer had to say about this CD. To hear Ethyl Merman, Mary Martin, Andrea McCardle etc. singing their trademark songs brought a lot of memories from the mid-centry musical theater back again. The last song by Glynis Johns is especially poignant.
You certainly can't beat the price!
A Good One!.......2006-11-10
This is a very good CD, mostly because it's the original artists. I've had some that were re-recorded by no name artists that were ghastly. This one is a really good one--including the sound quality. If I had one wish, I would wish it were longer!

Go Ahead.......2004-01-03
I love the calling band I also like all the other songs but Wherever You Will Go is my favorite.
I think you can put it in your computer too. You must have Quicktime to install Quick time
go to www.apple.com/quicktime you have a choice to get a PRO player for $29.99 or get the
free basic version.
Ohhhh yeah . . ........2003-01-03
Wherever You Will Go is THE best song on The Calling's Camino Palmero album. It was their first single, and really broke out well. If you buy this single and like it, you should buy the CD Camino Palmero. You will probably enjoy all the songs on the CD. Wherever You Will Go has a strong guitar melody (strong ACOUSTIC guitar, that is. NOT electric) and extremely insightful and uplifting lyrics.
Just a great song..........2002-08-27
This song has been playing on the radio almost constantly for several weeks now here in England, but somehow I managed to miss it until my best friend (who was at the time obsessed with this song) insisted that I listen to it. Basically the song deals with losing the person that you love. The tune and lyrics are both very catchy and will stay in your head all day (particularly if you have a slightly annoying best friend called Rachel who likes to sing almost constantly). The vocals and guitars are amazing - this song has to be one of the best to make it into the British charts this year.
However, despite how great this is, there are even better tracks on the album "Camino Palmero" so if you liked "Wherever You Will Go" then I recommend that you go buy it now.

Good Cd-Single.......2002-07-29
"Wherever You Will Go" is the best song on the Camino Palmero album, so if you enjoy this song a lot you needn't buy the album.
But about this cd-single, it's not that awesome. I own this cd-single and have actually listened to the whole thing. On this cd the second track has the acoustic version of "Wherever You Will Go" I always thought that it would be great because when I first heard "Wherever You Will Go" on the radio the guitar intro sounded good. But I'm sorry, but when I heard Alex Band's voice it wasn't exactly pleasant... it was awful. But I still love this song!
The third track is a snippet of "Could It Be Any Harder" song about how he can't live without his girl...
The fourth track is a snippet of the song "Adrienne" Pretty good song, about a girl that's been using him... one of the good songs on the album
The fourth track is a snippet of "Unstoppable" great song about how he felt alone and how a girl is what he needs 'tonight' ...I don't like this song, I like the song better without lyrics..
Don't get me wrong, I like The Calling but I suggest you don't listen to anymore acoustic versions of any of their songs. Other than that, they're good! But don't expect "Wherever You Will Go" to define what the whole debut album sounds like, because the album doesn't carry the same weight as this song.
So if you don't want the album and want to have a little sampler, BUY THIS!
Two Words!.......2002-06-23
BUY IT!
The Calling are wicked cool and this single just goes to prove it. It's brilliant and, believe it or not, it isn't the best track on their album 'Camino Palmero'! If you like Nickelback then this album is definitely for you!

Spawning from the stomping grounds of such great artists as Mary Chapin Carpenter and Bruce Springsteen, this is the first full production release of young country music newcomer from New Jersey, Chad Hamilton. The album, Wherever You Go, features ten songs, influenced by both traditional country and popular music, all written or co-written by Chad.
Produced by Frank Starchak and Chad Hamilton
Customer Reviews:
Wherever you go, it's gonna be to the top!.......2000-07-20
Chad Hamilton's album "Wherever You Go" is the first country cd I bought. It was by accident that I got be a friend of his. I meet him while he was performing at the Bordentown Grill. I took a liking to his performance, because he is the only country singer I know that plays Green Day and Poison. YEAH! Anyway his album is really awesome. My favorite song is "I Hated the Rain" because it tells a story of a child who hates something and then in the end, he ends up loving it. It sort of reminds me of me. Thanks alot Chad for a great song.
Absolutely Great.......2000-04-16
This CD is really great. All of the songs are well written and a pleasure to listen to. Chad's voice is clean, clear and refreshing. You don't have to love country to enjoy this album. As the songs say, "The music gets me going" and "Wherever you go, there you are". Highly recommended. This could be the first for an up and coming star. Just try the sound bites, they tell the story.
Family Raves.......2000-04-14
Although I am Chad's cousin and might not be considered an unbiased judge, I must say that I hate to miss any show of his which always includes tracks from this brand new CD. My first favorite song was Under Tennessee Skies. It outlines a piece of his life and I think that a lot of other people can relate to what he is saying. My next favorite (if it's possible to categorize them) is Forever and a Day. I think it is a very pretty song which points out that there is more in life to worry about than a quick glance or a questioning eye and that true love is "forever". The title track, Wherevere You Go just hits you over the head! You can't not like it! Of course, I love each and every song that he has on this CD along with some of his other work which will just have to go onto his next CD. Chad is a great songwriter, singer and entertainer. I highly recommend the purchase of this CD, your support to his rising career and whenever you get a chance to see him perform, don't miss it!
Amazing!.......2000-04-14
All the songs in this album are great. Chad has a wonderful voice and lots of talent. Everyone should get this CD, even those who aren't country music fans. Rutgers University loves Chad!
Heartfelt, Down-home, boot-stompin' F-U-N!.......2000-04-11
I don't buy too many first-release CDs because I'd rather wait and hear from other people on whether or not a particular album will be worth my money. This CD, however, is FUN, romantic and just all-around great to listen to! "Hunkababy" is by far my favorite track on the album, with "The Music Gets Me Goin'" a close second. Both are upbeat, get-you-dancin' songs! "I Hated The Rain" is a sweet song that takes you through the joys and heartaches of a boy growing into a man. "www.Straight-To-My-Heart" is like one of those songs that everyone will eventually know the words to and will sing the chorus out loud wherever they are. I highly recommend this album. I'll be keeping my eye out for his next release.

Customer Reviews:
This is one of my favorite songs........1999-08-31
The only thing that I disliked about this CD was that the version was not like the video version which I was accustomed to. Well, the English version wasn't. The Spanish version was perfect except for the fact that it was spanish. I did not like the beginning of the English version or how the chorus was only sang once. I think this is what drove me to want to by the extended versions of the song on the other CD.
I Think Voices Of Theroy A Wonderful Group.......1999-01-26
I love there music as so as I heard them I fall in LOVE..
