    5 out of 5 stars Amazing Folk/Blues.......2003-12-01

    First off, Jim is a tremendous man who I had the pleasure of meeting in Scotland. I talked to him about guitar and music for about half an hour after a show of his and then he invited me to a pub with the locals and bought me some drinks. A good way to pay him back is to write good honest reviews of his work.

    Think a Scottish James Taylor with a blues/country influence. His guitar work is amazing and his lyrics are penetrating. Buy this album, and buy Turning the Tide. If you like the two, get his latest, "Old Dogs for the Hard Road." these are his three best albums and if you are a folk fan in any means buy this and you won't regret it.
