Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Technical ability tempered by subtlety.......2007-04-25

I've listened to Al Petteway's music for nearly 15 years, from his early solo work to his duet work with his highly talented wife Amy. Mr. Petteway's work is amazing, not only because of his ability and agility, but because of the gentle quality of his work. Sligo Creek is probably my favorite piece of his and one of my favorite musical pieces of any genre, but the Waters and the Wild is a very appropriate name for his style. Strong yet yielding, gentle yet powerful.
I just saw a performance of Al and Amy's and not only were they both just as great live, they are also wonderful giving people and it shows in their performance.
I consider myself very lucky to know of and be able to listen to their music.

5 out of 5 stars Al's crisp clean style comes through........2003-01-16

The old classic Rise Up My Love, has never been done better. Most
recording always seemed rushed. Al does it with such class!!!
This artist is a rising star in many ways. Give it a listen and you'll be hooked too.
