Bob Rowe's Tom Thumb Album........2000-12-31
Bob Rowe just keeps getting better and better.
Please buy this album and be lifted!. I am, every time I listen to it.
A Fine Collection & Wonderful Tribute!.......2000-12-18
My favorite cuts are, "Marieke," done in a semi-classical style, with tympany drums, strings, and fine harmonies by Rowe himself, and of course, "Send In The Clowns," which is very effective in the way it has not strayed from the original arrangements. However, Rowe, does give Judy's other "chestnuts," like, "MY FATHER," a wonderful treatment of his own with a beautiful french horn solo and haunting harmonies, and several of the originals such as, "Turn To You," and "For The First Time," are outstanding writing-- making this a worthy project, and a wonderful, entertaining album to listen to! With almost an hours worth of music (17 songs in all), this disc is deffinately worth the $17.99 price!
