This has to be one of my most treasured CDs in my collection. The stories and songs fit each other beautifully. I laugh, cry, ponder and love each time I listen to it (which is often). It's fabulous for a long drive! Yay! I love it!

I had never heard a storyteller on audio CD prior to listening to "Mixed Nuts and Other True Stories". Pamela Gude had me laughing off my seat. Her description of events, tone, ability to see the humor in some of the strangest places and bring it live to the audience allowed me to feel and visualize as if I were actually there. It is difficult to believe that these events actually happened. Her timing is impeccable and she's mastered finding the funny in even the most serious situations without minimizing life's challenges. Pamela Gude is a true artist as an adult storyteller in an honest, clean way that is so rare nowadays. If you're looking for fun without having to send the kids to the other room, I highly recommend trying out this local Vermonter. I look forward to more of her CD's in the future!
