About the Artist
Knot Fibb'n is a Columbus, Ohio-based Celtic folk ensemble, formed in 1997. They've been described as "Celtic With a Kick!" for their energetic live performance style. Knot Fibb'n has performed regionally in the state of Ohio alongside other festival artists like John Whelan, Cherish the Ladies, Gaelic Storm, Black 47, and Dervish.

Product Description
Knot Fibb'n takes traditional Celtic tunes and updates them with a contemporary folk sound. Alongside danceable reels and jigs are lovely airs and sung ballads. Produced by world champion Celtic accordionist and Narada recording artist John Whelan, this disc contains tracks that are multi-faceted in style due to creative arrangements, but always with a strong Celtic flavor.

5 out of 5 stars Buy This CD - SEE THE BAND.......2001-06-18

I picked this up this weekend at the Parkersburg WV Multicultural festival DURING the bands performance. I am a big fan of celtic music both progressive and traditional and this CD satisfies those celtic cravings. The CD is well recorded and mixed and is a joy to listen to. The musicians are VERY talented, they have a LOT of fun and you will too. BUT PLEASE if you ever get the chance, SEE THEM LIVE it is an experience not to be missed.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have for A Celtic Rock Fan.......2001-01-25

This CD really shows the best of a truly believable and dedicated Celtic Rock group. This band plays their heart out on this CD. This is a must have for your music library. The diversity and incredible sound on this CD will make it one of your favorites - it's in my player as the default CD!

5 out of 5 stars Something for everyone.......2000-12-09

A great Celtic-Rock mix of songs, from touching ballads like "Fields of Athenry" to the driving bodhran beat of "Where the Streets Have No Name" and the impossible-not-to-sway-to sea chanty "Fiddler's Green", this CD has something for every Celtic music fan, and a lot for those who like their Celtic with a little kick. This band is not just playing the notes, they _believe_ them. If you haven't had the chance to see them live, this is the next best thing!
