5 out of 5 stars We Want More.......2003-09-17

We need another Agranoff production including such classics as, "Can You Sing Any Dylan?" and his poems like the Sandman and the guy in the telephone black box. The opus in this album is wonderful, Mike, but we want more.

4 out of 5 stars Oh my.......2000-12-03

WOW: Many years ago, I worked with this guy in NJ. I have an original tape he made at a local club. His skill on the guitar was remarkable. Better still, it was his own style. I can't wait to hear what he's up to musically. I had no clue he had gone pro. Oh, Mike: You get the 4 stars for prior talent on the six string. Go Mike Go.

5 out of 5 stars Five coffee cups overflowing!.......1999-12-09

The first time that I saw Bryan play was in a Borders bookstore with a friend. I did not intend to stay and listen, but I couldn't get myself to leave. Before the show was over I had bought the CD. After the music was over the entertainment didn't end, we sat around and listened to his experiences and travels, You could tell that all of his music came from inside. The words are free flowing, not forced, just like his personality. This is why I enjoy every song and can't wait for him to come out with a new album.

5 out of 5 stars Charming the Listeners - I Never Get Bored of This CD.......1999-04-17

Bryan Kelley's refreshing, enlivening and consoling music on this CD is a cathartic "coming of age" journey in my mind. "I Lie In the Water" makes us feel our burdened yet liberating freedom of choice and aloneness in a world of so many possibilities and inevitable wrong turns. "Where Are They Now" also takes us back to our wanderings in and out of each other's lives. I see his collection of songs as a reflection of our determined, sad, angry and joyful desire to be our unique and flawed selves while trying to build and belong to an ideal paradise of happy and healthy lovers, friends, and family. I thank him for a successful work that describes this eternal conflict. (He also makes his live performances seem like a warm and casual circle of friends enjoying good music and grooves together. I saw him and his great band at The Mint in Los Angeles on Pico Boulevard.)

4 out of 5 stars A very inspired album with an eclectic mix of sounds.......1998-12-03

The first thing that struck me about the album was it's flowing grooves and breathing melodies. Bryan Kelley is really feeling something on this recording as he sings of personal experiences. The record has a natural ebb and flow as you go from a solo performance like "Fear" to a mellow toe-tapper like "Angels" into a driving, funky hit-to-be like "She Crawls". Great tunes, Great playing, Great production . . .Great record!
