Steve plays the guitar so good and he has this, I dont know, special gift to play the guitar.He is by far my favorite artist and guitarist.

Steve Glotzer presents "Life Imitates Art" and it contains warm, vocal songs that come straight from the heart and soul and nice guitar instrumentals.The instrumentals on this CD are the highlights.You have "Los Cabos Serenade", the jpfolks.com jazz song of the year.You have my favorite of this cd, "Beso Azul" with its warm instrumental feelings.The beautiful "Short And Suite" does not let anyone down.

5 of the instrumentals on this album have been featured on The Weather Channel.Three songs from this CD appear in the "Indie" movie titled "Mr. Id",the songs are Stevie's Blues, Los Cabos Serenade, and A Taste Of Blue ."Tucson," which he sings, recalls the folk songs of the 1960s.Steve Glotzer takes a folksy approach to jazz, adding Latin sounds and blues to create a personal and unique sound on this wonderful, exciting CD!!Its a pleasure to hear this music and people who like skillfull jazz will like this CD a lot.

This is a real high class quality CD and it is one of my favorite cds I own, be sure to check out Steves other two cd, "Acoustic Christmas" and "Lately", they are highly recommended as well, all I can say is that I will support Steve all the way and I hope he releases a new CD as well, thanks for taking the time to read this.

the beautiful guitar work, moving from electric jazz to acoustic, to latin flavored music, all with a blues feel is extraordinary. the segues are seamless and blend beautifully. i especially love the use of percussion.
