Why this musician is only well known in Canada is a mystery. The tragedy of the independent musician! Finally a solo release reveals the depths of talent this musician has. With mandolins in the background, organs here and there and the strength of strong accoustic guitar riffs, not to mention this unbelievable voice, Everett LaRoi writes music that will make you stop and listen and tap your feet at the same time. Some of these songs have been in my mind now for weeks and I am sure will end up in some movie some day. Whiskeytown, Scud Mountain Boys, Son Volt listeners will love this cd!
