Devils & Angels is modern rock influenced by the melodic craftmanship of singer-songwriter piano men containing a sharp sense of pop hooks and harmonies. absolutely perfect. that is how i describe this album to anyone who asks me. the singing, the simple but honest lyrics, the musicianship, the production. masterful pop songs in a masterful pop album.

    5 out of 5 stars Great Rock/Pop - Great Album........2007-07-08

I was pleasantly surprised by this quartet out of OC California. I'm not familiar with their previous independent release and will certainly be ordering it.

As one reviewer has already pointed out, the fantastic songwriting is truly the major draw of this album. There are plenty great hooks along with well written lyrics. Best of all, they write their own music. Fans of artists like Coldplay, Billy Joel, Elton John, etc. will likely find Melee very appealing.

Last time I checked, very few major chains are carrying this CD (hopefully, that will change soon), so thank you to Amazon!

Check out this fantastic group today!

    5 out of 5 stars Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2007-05-25

Finally beautiful melodic pop music circa 2007. And I really thought Pop was surely headed for the dumpster with non melodic drone like pieces of hooks.

    Songs! finally, real songs!

Melee, you have restored my faith in American pop music once again. I no longer have to rely on Brit pop for my craving for melody. There is still hope....

The last time Bruce Springsteen ventured West for inspiration, the result was the desolate Nebraska and its tales of serial killers and used cars. On his first record in three years, Springsteen navigates barren deserts and Old West war fields for a dozen forlorn songs that co-star the artist and his acoustic guitar. Though he's always had a knack for carving out the hooks and melodies that make each journey memorable, this time around Springsteen relies on the lyrics to carry the tune-desperate tales of tragedy, heartbreak, and lust with a Latino twist, like the boxer coming home ("The Hitter"), a distressing border-crossing incident ("Matamoros Banks"), and the Nevada hooker with good intentions ("Reno," which led to the warning sticker Adult Imagery). With no E Street Band in the mix, the album is decorated with horns and strings and Springsteen's novel falsetto on two his best efforts: "Maria's Bed," where the narrator comes home to his woman after 40 nights on the road, and the fast-picking "All I'm Thinkin' About," where he has more than Carolina on his mind. A decade from now this will be an underrated record in the Springsteen chronicles. --Scott Holter

The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle (1973)
The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street ShuffleAfter a folk-rockish debut album that bubbled with ideas and dense lyrical play, this is where Springsteen began to find his voice as a rocker and as a songwriter. The prisoner-of-love romanticism of "Rosalita" and "Incident on 57th Street" hinted at what was coming, and this early version of the E Street Band--jazzier and more spare than later versions, thanks largely to David Sancious's piano--sounds great, if a little ragged, these many years later.

Born to Run (1975) and Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978)
Born to Run Darkness on the Edge of Town These two records, which belong on any compilation of the top 100 rock albums of all time, sketched the themes that he would spend his whole career chasing, and defined the expectations fans would bring to his records ever after. The first chords of "Born to Run" sounded like freedom itself the first time I heard them on the radio, and the album lived up to them. "Thunder Road" is still the greatest rock & roll love song anyone's ever written. The record sounded so big and impassioned and propulsive it was easy to miss the dread running underneath it. Darkness... put the dread front and center. There are more of his best songs here than anywhere else, even if the sound is muddy and leaden at times.

    Nebraska (1982)
NebraskaAfter The River (the best record that didn't make this list) and the ensuing tour answered his rock & roll prayers--he was a big star now, not just a perennial critics' favorite--Springsteen holed up in a rented house on the Jersey shore, where he wrote these songs and sang them into a four-track recorder in his living room. The tape was supposed to be a demo for the band, but after several false tries he concluded that the tape he'd been carrying around in his pocket was the record. Quiet and bleak, Nebraska nonetheless grabbed you by the collar and made you listen as surely as his rock & roll records ever had.

    Tunnel of Love (1987)
Tunnel of LoveThe glare and hubbub surrounding the Born in the USA tour (the tour was great--the record itself overrated) made him pull back again, this time to write a cycle of songs about love and fear and self-doubt. After this, Springsteen's first marriage broke up, and he started a family with Patti Scialfa, disappearing for the better part of 10 years, notwithstanding the pair of not bad, just disappointing albums he released in 1992, Human Touch and Lucky Town.

The Ghost of Tom Joad (1995)
The Ghost of Tom Joad Some call it Nebraska II, but his second acoustic album was not a repeat of his first--the characters and settings had changed, and their circumstances were more expressly desperate, and social--though it did share the same interest in what happens to people whose isolation or marginal status renders them invisible.

    The Rising (2002)
The RisingEverybody--including Springsteen himself--seemed to think it was a record about 9/11, but the subject was broader: death and loss as seen from more than halfway down life's road. Dave Marsh nailed it: "A middle-aged man confronts death and chooses life." Brendan O'Brien's production sounds great.

    5 out of 5 stars Wonderful album!!.......2007-06-19

Love the album! I enjoyed every song, especially "Devils & Dust" and "Long Time Comin." I honestly think that this is Bruce' most creative album yet. Good work Bruce!! Keep it up.

As for the dualdisc issue, I have nothing to say because I bought the imported version for the same price to assure myself that I would be able to listen to this on my Ipod. I suggest all of you do the same if you want to avoid any problems.

    5 out of 5 stars Wonderful CD.......2007-06-12

This remains on of my favorites from Springsteen. Many great haunting ballads - the title song is one of his greatest unappreciated works. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars DEVILS & DUST...SPRINGSTEEN FOR THE THINKING MAN ! (and The Boss' best album since Born In The USA).......2007-05-30

Bruce Springsteen's Devils & Dust (2005) is an album of stark, intelligent songs with individual characters in each one. Sometimes Bruce portrays these characters himself, and other times he tells their stories. The people in these songs aren't living the American dream. Some just haven't made it yet, and others have had their lives shattered. Some, like the Mexican husband in Matamoros Banks, who dies trying to cross the border into America, never will. For the most part, these are scarred, broken lives, and even though most are fictional, they are real lives, lived by people with real feelings, and real dreams, just like you and me. Spingsteen makes his characters come to life, in a very personal way, just like John Steinbeck did with similar characters, in his novel, Cannery Row. Other than Jesus, who Bruce depicts as the very real, and very sensitive Son of God, in Jesus Was An Only Son, the people in these songs live in the poor, forsaken part of American society. If you judge people who are less fortunate to be inferior, this album will smack you right between the eyes. If you don't have it in you to empathize with these folks, or have a pathological need to always blame others for their own misfortune, these songs won't have any meaning for you at all.
Musically, the album is mostly acoustic guitar based, with a lot of harmonica, but nothing like Springsteen's Nebraska. Where that album was stripped down with only guitar and harmonica, Devils & Dust is also colored with mandolins, dobro, fiddle, electric guitars, drums, female backing vocals, piano, organ, horns, and an orchestra. The songs are dark, the songs are real, and the songs are very emotional. They fit Springsteen's voice well, and the musical arrangements fit the songs perfectly. Devils & Dust is a brilliant album, that may take a few listens to fully appreciate. If you don't like it at first, don't give up, just keep listening (while reading the lyrics) until it registers. When you do find meaning in these songs and characters, you'll be very satisfied that you took the time to understand this rewarding Bruce Springsteen album for the thinking man (or woman). Devils & Dust is The Boss doing what he does best. By looking at a small part of our world, we can see the whole universe with more clarity and compassion.

1 out of 5 stars Unhappy With Purchase.......2007-03-21

I received a pirated CD which I had given to my girlfriend. It had a copied front cover in the CD and it doesn't play as it should. I will never purchase through Amazon again.

3 out of 5 stars Once again heading down Woody's path..........2007-02-19

DEVILS & DUST continues Springsteen's occasional forays into the land of Woody Guthrie; Bare bones musical settings and telling stories that touch on the human condition. This one is more successful than the painful TOM JOAD, but it still suffers from a sense of ennui. The title cut with line s like "Fear's a powerful thing It can turn your heart black you can trust," is a memorable opener and the bitter taste of "Reno" lasts for a long time, but the overall effect is still one of Bruce reaching back for what he found on NEBRASKA and coming up a bit short.

    Album Description

These road warriors from Detroit are back. This is, without a doubt, the most punishing and important album of their career. Traveling the world promoting "All Hail The Dead" with Fear Factory, Throwdown, From Autumn To Ashes, Bleeding Through, and Mastadon, these guys and gals have become notorious for putting on one of the best live shows metal and hardcore have seen in years. This will be put to the test with 11 new songs, as WOJ will undoubtedly reign supreme and deliver the most anticipated metal album of 2006.

    Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Candice could tear your face off..........2007-03-28

...and eat it for dinner and you'd still have a smile on your face after listening to this album! This entire album is pure insanity with crushing guitar riffs, pounding drums, and ear shattering screams! Between falling in dark love with this album and seeing them perform it live, all other hardcore bands seem to be striving for what Walls of Jericho has achieved. I can't even break down the individual songs because this album is in a class of it's own! Do Your self a favor and don't pass this one up!

5 out of 5 stars There should be 6 stars for this one..........2006-12-16

This is an amazing album. For those of you familiar with WoJ, this is the absolute masterpiece form the band (so far... surely there is more greatness to come). For those not familiar, this is a perfect welcome to an amazing band. If you enjoy a heaping helping of hardcore with your metal, look no further. I am not talking about the dime-a-dozen breakdown bands polluting the airwaves today. Walls of Jericho own the scene. This is true hardcore. This is true metal. Without a doubt, the most well known aspect of the band is the fact that they have a female lead singer. Candace is one of the most talented and charismatic front-people of any hard music act working today. For fans of Terror, Hatebreed, Throwdown, etc... If you are looking for more female-fronted outfits, check out Light This City (think At The Gates), Arch Enemy (who doesn't know them by now?), Guano Apes (more hard rock than metal), Lacuna Coil (for the softer side of metal), etc...

5 out of 5 stars This is the best hardcore band ever.......2006-12-02

    They are better than Hatebreed!
It's not just about having a girl sing, musically they have blaring, energy filled riffs that are more energetic than any punk band, and then they pound it into you with as much for, as possible. This is perfect.

    5 out of 5 stars 110% Improvement.......2006-09-15

After hearing the first single "Trigger Full Of Promises" on the headbangers ball cd i thought well this is a great improvement from their other albums. I decided to go ahead and give this album a chance and picked it up at best buy. After listening to the whole album i wondered if this was the same band.

The songwriting on this album has improved so much. the guitar riffs are much more intricate and thrashy, the drums are fast, pounding and full of brutal fills, and the vocals are very angry and brutal. The breakdowns are much improved as well. I know people wont agree with me on this one but i feel most of these breakdowns are better than the new unearth album.

Each song stands out on its own for each specific reason which is good cause it gives you an album that you have to listen to from start to finish. The most suprising element about this album is the ballad song which is number 9. The singer actually sings and sound really good and it has a nice solo in the song. It remings me of lacuna coil. It is also a good break between the destruction so you can catch your breath before the last two punishing tracks.

I suggest this album for anyone that likes unearth, shadows fall or any band that has either thrash elements or who likes great breakdowns. Go pick it up cause they deserve the exposure!!!

5 out of 5 stars Buy this if you're looking for some really good heavy music.......2006-08-23

Walls of Jericho (Detroit's hardest working hardcore band) have made their tightest album to date "With Devil's Amongst Us". The song's here hit the mark every time with vicious, heavy guitar driven hardcore led by Candace's penetrating vocals. The lyrics here have meaning and purpose. The guitar work is brutal, pummeling fast and non-stop.
The songs on this disc have a more structured feel compared to the more free form hardcore style on their previous albums. All of the tracks here are good. Some standouts:

Track 1 - "A Trigger full of Promises" has one of the best lines on the album "If I load this gun, would you hold it to your heart and give your life for love"

Track 2 - "I know Hollywood and you ain't it" at 00:54 seconds, the guitar has this heavy old school thrash feel to it which carries through the rest of the song. Good stuff

Track 3 - "Hope you Die" is a quintessential Walls of Jericho song with demon speed guitar & magnum force vocals that make you want to tear *stuff* up.

Track 6 - "The Haunted" starts off slow & eerie with this chanting then gets going. The chanting turns into the chorus. Makes for a good fight song!

Track 9 - "No Saving Me" is a great mellow tune that shows off the band's musical talent. Plus Candace really flexes her singing skills (Reminds me of Angel off of 'The Bound Feed the Gagged').

This album is a must for Walls of Jericho fans. It should be required for any hardcore or metal fan. If you dig it & want to hear more Walls of Jericho check out 'The Bound Feed the Gagged' and 'All Hail the Dead'. Plus if you ever get a chance to see these guys live, do it. They are one of the most intense bands you'll ever see.

4 out of 5 stars THIS IS THE MOVIE on CD.......2007-04-07

This really isn't a music soundtrack it is the dialogue from the best scenes in the movie... It includes Colonel Kurtz whispering "The horror... .............. the horror....." (trail end of last track), reciting The Hollow Men by T.S. Eliot, or the dialogue including "... you're an errand boy ...sent by grocery clerks to collect a bill." For true ( possibly obsessive) fans of the movie or Brando this is a must.

2 out of 5 stars Great Idea, Terrible Execution.......2006-10-12

I am unbelivably disappointed in this offering. Never in the field of soundtracks for movies about human conflict has so little been delivered when so much is deserved... Never has a movie begged for a soundtrack that incorporates much of the dialogue with the score, and never has said soundtrack failed so miserably. What are the two iconic scenes from the movie? Of course, the river skiing scene to the tune of 'Satisfaction', and the unforgettable attack on the village by the Air Cav with Wagner blaring on the speakers. Well guess what, kids? Satisfaction is deleted COMPLETELY, and the most moving scene in the movie (the attack on the village) is given about two minutes, and does not include much of the cockpit conversations (such as the errant flare), the radio chatter concerning the downed chopper, the call for the air strike, or the warning from the jets, "get back, this is going to be a big one". Buying this cd is like buying a 2001 Space Odyssey soundtrack without Strauss... DO NOT BUY THIS ABORTION!

3 out of 5 stars One of those cds for a long car ride... deep into the jungle.......2002-07-04

It's one of those films that gets under your skin, isn't it? And now you want more, you want the soundtrack. You want to go deeper into the jungle.....

This double-cd album can do this. It's part The Doors, part soliloquy/voice over by Martin Sheen, and part Carmine Coppola & Walter Murch compositions (Academy Award winning). Yet the voice overs by Martin Sheen as Captain Willet are the prized recordings here. Interspersed with genuine jungle sounds, Marlon Brando and his brilliant Warrior poetry and Asian gongs and bells, the Willet dialogue tracks are intoxicating, a dark euphoric madness that holds true to Joseph Conrad's theme in the novel.

So is this soundtrack for you? Not if you're expecting the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction" or the complete compositions of Carmine Coppola. His works can be found on the Apocalypse Now Redux album which completely abandons what Joseph Conrad tried to impart to us in the first place. That cd contains the scores and orchestral work if that's what you want. Only the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has "... the horror... the horror...."

4 out of 5 stars Listen to the film..........2001-06-28

This is not your typical movie soundtrack, and it is a refreshing approach. Basically this 2CD set plays like a condensed version of the film, with all of the highlights captured in dialogue, sound, etc. The music is worked into these audio "scenes" nicely. "The End" is also featured here in a stunning mix that matches the visuals of this great war film. Even if you haven't seen the film, this soundtrack will certainly intrigue and even excite.

5 out of 5 stars Truly the sound track (not just music).......2000-09-17

Half of the soundtrack is dialog. So what do you think a soundtrack is? If it is the music you are after, most sound tracks pail compared to the original, with the exception of original music for the movie. If it is the significant dialog and feel for the movie, this soundtrack has what the maker thinks is significant. I agree with the choices.

5 out of 5 stars Most excellent Bay Area Band!.......2007-06-05

During the late 70's to early 80's, I cocktailed in clubs around the bay area and ALWAYS loved the show these guy would put on. GREAT music, very funky and soul-ful. Like another writer said, a great Oakland sound, from back in the day.

4 out of 5 stars Blast from the Past.......2006-08-30

You gotta love the name of this group, very creative. I bought this CD because I like Joe Crane's music. Some of the tracks still sound fresh but most would sound way better if you had too much too drink (or smoke), were 22 years old and in a bar in San Francisco. I imagine under those conditions, this group really rocked. My favorites: "Greenlight", "You Gotta Get You Somebody New" and "Safecracker". Worth buying for those three tunes. Having the Pointer Sisters singing backup on "Sea of Love" is a very cool touch as well. The sound quality is very good ... in these days of highly engineered music, this CD sounds like you're right in the room with the band. Now where did I put my bellbottoms and my bong?

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Songwriting and Vocals.......2004-05-02

Amazing music-- definitely worth purchasing. It's incredible how close the Hoodoos came to "making it big" (Clive Davis came to hear them) and the bad luck that seemed to keep them from breaking through was astounding (Clive fell asleep during their set and figured they couldn't be THAT good if they couldn't keep him awake). Thankfully, it appears that San Francisco realized what a treasure they were and voted them best band in the bay area.....if you like this CD you can still find several of their albums on vinyl. It's worth the effort.

I discovered the Hoodoos due to my son's friendship and creative kinship with Joe Crane's son and heir apparent to his father's songwriting talent-- known professionally as AverageJoeCrane (check out his music...if you think his dad can write songs you'll be blown away by Joe the younger's lyrics and incredible voice). AverageJoe was lead singer for The Ultimate Something in the mid nineties in Austin-- like father/like son- TUS's brush with MAKING IT BIG was close-- but weird karma didn't let it happen. Not that AverageJoe is complaining-- life is still good in Austin and if you are lucky you just might catch one of his sets live.

5 out of 5 stars The best bar band in the world.......2003-11-25

I have always been a huge fan of this great band. I saw them many times in the bay area during the 70's and their shows always blew away everyone there. When I found out this CD was available I couldn't believe it. None of their albums are on CD's so this was a great surprise. This band deserved to be a huge success but they never rose above small clubs during their sixteen years together. Alot of great guest stars playing on these tracks, but it is Joe Crane's song writing and playing along with Glenn Walters voice that make this band one of my all time favorites. Buy the disc and see what the fuss is all about.

5 out of 5 stars Satisfies like cool water to parched lips........2003-03-28

Those who are not familiar with the Hoodoo Rhythm Devils have missed out. They were a great West Coast band, led by the late (and very talented) Joe Crane. He and core band mates Glenn Walters, Richard Green and John Rewind turned out some great soulful rock, with toe-tapping rhythms and tasty musicianship. Sort of like Creedence Clearwater meets the Subdudes, but with a slightly rawer edge.
This small-label compilation offers most of the band's best tunes, culled from their four albums. While there is not one even mediocre (much less 'bad') tune on the disc, standouts include the rousing 'Too Hot to Handle' (which got some national airplay in 1972), 'Safe in Their Homes', 'All Tore Down' and the best version of Dylan's 'Tangled Up in Blue' you've ever heard. If you remember the Hoodoos, then you'll love this 17 song collection. If you've never heard them, but like the musical real McCoy, then get this while you can.

5 out of 5 stars Moving Mountains From Prison .......2007-02-27

Spm/Carlos Coy, my home boy. This is his first album from prison. It was released at number 19 on album sales in the world. This is for a rapper who gets little to no radio play. This has never happened in any music genre let alone underground rap. This is the dopest music to come from anywhere and if you cant feel it then your hater. I dont care if your a fan or were a fan. He started out with 100 tapes, were you down then? Stop hatin and runnin your d--k sucking mouths. Cell Block 11 Screwston, Texas.

5 out of 5 stars Blazing the path with a new jailhouse beat!.......2007-01-04

SPM is takin Houston and Dope House Records to the top with this latest hit "Real Gangsta". Live it, love it.... gotto have it!

5 out of 5 stars He's Still The King Of H-Town.......2006-11-30

To be locked up. This is a great cd.I always have been an SPM fan for a long time. I listen to other people cd that was locked up also. To me, he has the best cd out to be locked up. Hope he gets out soon.

3 out of 5 stars Not SPM's best but then again he was on lockdown........2006-11-14

If You are new to SPM, understand that I think he is talented and that he has many great songs:Bloody War, You know my name, Ooh Wee, Habitual Criminal, Wiggy Wiggy, etc. But this album is another thing.

With all the drama in SPMs life I can understand that he couldnt focus all his attention on this album. Still, this is music and I'm judging it for what it is, not for how good it could have been, I know it coul've been better. Basically, I think that this album is not too good. It's one of the only spm CDs that I own that I'd consider selling to a used cd store. As for songs, I'd keep "In my hood", "Real gangsta", maybe one more, i've listened to it like 3 times today and I don't feel that any of the songs sunk in well, like they did in the past. This is my honest opinion and I'm a true fan of this sub genre of rap, I have many SPM Albums, Latino velvet, Baby Bash, Kid Frost, etc

When I first bought this album it was in '83 in a used record
store in Frederick MD, down on Market st. I asked the guy behind
the counter if I could hear a cut and he said, "It's just a bunch
of drums." Later when I went back to CO I put it on for my mates
very early one morning and it was probably one of the coolest
albums we had ever heard. Truly scary. It will have you in it's
grip until it blows you up softly. I think Mickey Hart is pretty
much running the show on this one. Hells Bells.

Let this CD take you to the jungle. Mickey Hart and Co. use pecussion to help you with that trip.

Too bad this is such a short album, because the rhythms are so awe-inspiring! You just don't want the album to stop! I can't believe I'm hearing this!

Only the Rhythm Devils (and Mickey Hart in particular) can evoke the images of places that you can travel to while listening. It is hard to describe but his percussion arrangements with the other famous musicans around the world does this!

Check out the closing track - Napalm for Breakfast to test your stereo speakers.

Just an awesome album. Mickey will continue making superb albums that will take the listener to other places and beyond!

5 out of 5 stars Hart's best, but, another update sure would be nice........2000-08-28

One of the best percussion records ever (as someone pointed out earlier) got a little bit better when released on CD. The technically excellent recording was finally unshackled from a horrible vinyl pressing. Previously unreleased material was added to this release, and some resequencing was done, bringing a short running time out to a little over 38 minutes.

The music is absolutely stunning. This is real-time scoring work, with the Dead's backline getting a lot of help from their friends (including Airto and Flora). This is primal, unforced, experimental, and raw, making for a listening experience unlike any other. The insert is informative, with insights into the creation of the music, and including a fair amount of technical detail on the recording and mastering processes.

While "Napalm For Breakfast" will be a brutal low frequency response test of you system, it's time for another update. At a minimum, a two channel, 24/96 & 24/192 Classic Records release.

A very acquired taste, and very recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Best persussion CD Ever!.......1999-12-01

The Rhythm Devils are true genuises. I bought this CD years ago, but just brought it back out into my rotation. No one else could have captured the feeling of the movie except for Mickey Hart. This is my favorite Hart CD. Truly a classic.

In Name and Blood is the third and strongest release yet from the Seattle-based six-piece. While it's not much of a stylistic deviation from previous releases, producer John Agnello gives the whole shebang a bottom-heavier sound. Atop this, front man Spencer Moody does what he does best: holler, holler, and holler some more. Keyboardist Leslie Hardy, a newer addition to the group, adds many Farfisa stabs and squiggles in classic garage-rock style. As the rest of the band holds down the fort, the hits keep on coming. The leadoff track, "Press Gang," sounds monstrous and powerful and, like some of the other anthems on In Name and Blood (especially the cutting "I Drink the Wine"), there's almost a whiff of the lukewarm beer that was probably spilled on the lyric sheets during the album's recording sessions. The grisly, crime-scene theme of the packaging complements the MCD's excellently executed rock. --Jason Josephes

    Album Description

On this their third full-length record, The Murder City Devils demonstrate the notion or Rock and Roll as a life or death proposition: tales of love lost (or destroyed), the doomed romanticism of the road (and an innate inability to deny its call), and suffering the slings and arrows of fate (outrageous or otherwise...). "With head, heart and hands - in name and blood." The enhanced CD, contains live video for "Bunkhouse"!

This is one of the best, IF NOT THE BEST, rock groups in the last fifteen years. I never got to see them live in person but have seen numerous videos and regret not seeing them every time I listen to any of their albums or dead low tides albums. Buy any of Murder City Devils albums and you have purchased one of the most under rated rock bands of all time. I only wish that they hadn't of called it quits.........

Bright red guitar riffs, monster music organ, killer rhythm section and howling vocals make this another fabulous offering from Seattle's own Murder City Devils. It's too bad they broke up in October of 2001, bands like this don't come around too often.

This album is one of the greatest in my collection, and I listen to it all the time. It never gets old, and in fact, I like it more all the time. The songs are pure rock and roll, make you want to dance. This band is amazing, pure and simple.

I don't write many reviews. I got into these guys back when "Don't Know How to Party" came out and I worked by way backwards to "Devil's Night Out" and while both are great albums, "Devil's Night" is just more raw, live, and fun. We used to party our aces off in college to this one, espcially "bartender song" and "the cave" although the whole album is good. Its a party in and of itself.
