Pat Mendoza is an internationally acclaimed singer, storyteller and author who has been called an "American Troubadour" and a "Twentieth Century Bard".

He is a singer (with an unbelievable three octave voice), poet and musician (six and twelve string guitars and Native American flute). His works have been heard on the BBC, CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) and NPR.

My husband and I love listening to "The Road That Takes Me" by Pat Mendoza. The songs are so touching and moving. Most of the songs on the CD are original. The CD is a combination of amazing ballads, poems, and love songs. The themes are from all parts of the world: Ireland, Colorado, Scotland, Western USA, and more.

The first song, "Te Amo" (sung with both English and Spanish words) is so beautiful it will make you cry. The price of the CD alone is worth it for this song. It is a story about his grandparents life, how they fell in love, married, grew old and loved through it all.

Pat Mendoza has outdone himself with this collection of songs. My personal favorites are...geez, every song on the CD with emphasis on "Te Amo, The Streets of Charleston, The Road That Takes Me, The Big Sand, and Ye Jacobites."
