Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Myles Cochran is a veteran of the music wars. Laying down his electric guitar, he hears something from his childhood in Kentucky and works hard to bring it to the ears of the New Yorkers who like to listen.
Band members: Myles: guitars, vocal, piano, bass
Mo: drums, backing vocals
Ray: drums
Bob Hoffnar: pedal steel
Eszter Balint: violin
Product Description
Semi-dreamy, occasionally hypnotic songs centered around acoustic guitar and vocals with other spices thrown in for good measure. Think Steve Earle meets Peter Gabriel, Shawn Colvin turns into a guy. Marginal Street was recorded mostly at home but it sounds like a pretty cool house.

Customer Reviews:
Nice acoustical album.......2005-06-14
15 songs that in total clock in at over an hour, this album is very relaxed feeling and could be played driving, at a meal, background music, or late nite with a glass of wine.
Some of the albums highlights are "Gold and Rose", "So Gone" the albums best song which is a gorgeous song that just rolls and drifts by, "Beginning To Believe", "Over Now" with country fiddle and "Unhappy Hour".
I think that for the right price you can'y go wrong with this album to be honest.
Complete Quality.......2003-06-15
It was a great treat to find this music. Technically masterful, it creates a big sound around you while gently relating how life can be. The guitar work has the finesse to deliver the melody, sweetly improving your day. The lyrics have a timeless quality while being grounded in the familiar. I have listened to this disc countless times and it replays fresh each day.
Mellow, Soulful Comfort Music.......2000-07-07
A great slice of life. The words range from fun and bubbly to reflective, to the occasional melancholic lyric. The music range is broader with tracks of rich harmonies sprinkled in with unadulterated accoustics. The energy of the tracks rises and falls, and rises again, like a wave. Recommended way to listen to it: Get a sunny summer Saturday, turn on the tracks, jump into a hammock and swing away.
