A CD Built to Last.......2002-01-31
Leonardo is one of Chicago's finest singer-songwriters, and perhaps the world's most talented Lithuanian beat musician. This CD includes one of his finest songs, the eloquent "Local Hero," a narrative tale outlining the series of wouldas and couldas that litter the landscape of a proud local musician. The accompaniment on the record is spare yet effective, as Leonardo delivers his Midwestern folk songs with economical and heartfelt honesty. Fans of John Prine, Steve Goodman, and Mr. Zimmerman will love this record or its followup, "Urban Suite".
