You'll wear this CD out!.......2000-12-24
This is a wonderful collection of songs. If you like traditional Scottish music--this is it. Ian bruce has a great voice and is a good storyteller--if you ever get the chance to see him in person.
Highly recommended!.......2000-09-25
All of Ian Bruce's songs are touching, entertaining, and full of love for the music of Scotland! His voice is strong and true.

Traditional Scots Songs.......2007-06-09
Ian Bruce, a pleasure to hear. Traditional songs can be difficult for the non-Scot listner, but Ian enunciates just right & is not overrun by instrumentals. If I have difficulty I read along for clarity. He's brought Robert Burns, his own songs & history of Scotland, alive for me! I'm fortunate to have discovered Ian Bruce.
