About the Artist
Matt Watroba has been the voice of folk music in Detroit for over 13 years as producer and host of the Folks Like Us Program on Detroit Public Radio. He has given thousands of performances on concert stages, in coffee houses, and in schools from Kindergarten through college. A strong, solid voice backed with the ability and repetoire to always pick the right song has led to Matt being chosen as "Best folk artist" in the 2000 Detroit Music Awards.
