Annie and Stuart have toured Borders Books and Music stores and they have also appeared at many cafes and bookstores, including Starbucks and Barnes & Noble locations, and at numerous New York City cafes and cabarets, including the popular Bitter End, and upstairs at Rose's Turn. Some of their other well-known venues include outdoor festivals, such as the Jones New York concert series at Woodbury common, Wave Hill, fall festivals at Rhinebeck, Sugarloaf and Piermont, NY, Hyde Park's Good Neighbor Day, and NYC's Central Park fall festival at the Harlem Meer, as well as the Arts in the Heart of Boston concert series at Boston's Prudential Center and Outpost in the Burbs in New Jersey. They have also volunteered their musicals talents to various outreach programs. Their music has been played over several radio stations, including WBAI-FM and WFDU-FM, and they have been featured on the New Artist Spotlight series on the ever popular WHUD-FM-one of NY Hudson Valleys leading stations. Themes of love, hope, peace, and an appreciation of humanity and of nature are found in their songs. NEW RELEASE: "SWEET DESTINY" CD

"Sweet Destiny" is a compilation of the work of singer/songwriter Annie Hecht and her composer/keyboardist, husband Stuart Hecht. The CD includes the newly produced single "My Number One," co-written with Grammy-nominated, producer David Grow. "Sweet Destiny" also includes the favorite singles "So Glad," "Blue Rose Sky," "Forevermore, Faithfully," "Voices of the World" and "Serenade of the Morning Sky."

Annie and Stuart began their collaboration when Stuart placed an add in New York City's "Village Voice" for a singer for his band, and they've been making music together ever since. They lived in New York City's lower east side for several years, thriving on the artists' life there, playing and singing in cafes and clubs. Annie and Stuart also completed masters studies in music and performance at New York University.

The couple lives in New York's Westchester County now, where they're raising their son Brandon.
