Product Description
My Father, Wallace J. Gladstone, was the finest story teller imaginable. He lived the stories he told. This 2-CD, 2 ½ hour epic set chronicles the early chapters of my Father's odyssey. Entertaining and informative, Wally's precise memory provides an outline for understanding both 19th and 20th century Blackfeet/American culture from the mountains of Montana to the midwestern plains. In Storysmith, I strategically position "Jacktrax", an interpretive commentary guiding the listener through Dad's odyssey. Enhancing this collection are sound tracks from the breadth of my recorded works as well as four newly recorded songs. Introducing the album is a haunting arrangement of two of my Father's favorite songs, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World." Also included are my two new originals; "As a Child", an anti-war anthem and "Into a Child's Eyes", a lullaby accenting renewal and acceptance. This is truly the most unique project I've ever! been called upon to do.
