    5 out of 5 stars Alaskan Romance.......2000-12-01

My husband, Doug, brought this tape back with him from Alaska when he moved back to Oregon. He received it directly from Hobo Jim, an original release. Our whole family enjoys each and every song on the tape. Even our 6 year old daughter enjoys singing the songs. Each song inspires our lives bringing the rich flavor of Alaska to our home. From the stories my husband tells me, Hobo Jim's songs truly describe what Alaska is about, from the timber camps to the fishing vessels. If you are an outdoor person, this tape is for you.

    5 out of 5 stars Alaskan Forever.......2000-04-09

I always dreamed of going to Alaska, and when I did I discovered some great people there, Theese people and the music of Hobo Jim kept me returning time and time again, He truely sings about the great land from the heart, and he is right on the money. His music is clear and simple, and that is what makes people love him. I have fished the Kenai with Hobo and he really loves and lives through his music. When I lived in Alaska I rarely missed a show, He is great. No trip to Alaska would be complete with out seeing the great Alaskan through song. He is a great inspiration, thanks Jim.

About ten or twelve years ago,a buddy of mine from Alaska lent me a tape of "HOBO JIM"... I have lost track of him, but never the thought of that great music. If you want to hear about alaskas livlyhood or the "backwood" way of living, This "CD'S' for you.
