Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Chicagoland Irish.......2006-05-23

We were introduced to Kevin and Arranmore whilst living in the Western Suburbs of Chicago 15 years ago. The music was lively, engaging, and a brilliant mix of mostly original compositions with a few by well known singer/songwriters. On this album you get a reasonable feel for the group's range. From "It's Worth Believin'" (written by Gordon Lightfoot) to "Trouble in the Fields" (written by Nancy Griffith), the sound is Chicago Irish folk. "The Illinois & Michigan Canal" is a longstanding favourite of mine, given links to those who fled the Hunger and took work as "Navigators."

Brilliant music, great group. If you can, see them live!
