About the Artist
Ingrid Chiemi Schroffner is a folk singer-songwriter who performs evenings in small clubs in the Greater Boston area. The title of her new compact disc, Living on Two Coasts, mirrors the duality of her life. She grew-up in Hawaii, a state where ethnic mixes are the norm. Her mother is of Okinawan lineage, her father emigrated to Hawaii from Salzburg, Austria. The diversity in her family resonates through her songs at night.

Ingrid Chiemi Schroffner '88 sings under her middle name in "Living On 2 Coasts," her recently released CD. The disk features 9 original songs sung by Chiemi. Chiemi also plays her vintage green Gretsch guitar with DeepC (Djembe, percussion and backing vocals) and Sean Dennehy (lead guitar, bass & keyboards)—the Chiemi Trio. One of the songs, "Lost & Found in You," was recorded by brother, Mark Schroffner ‘90.
