This man with a beautiful nutbrown voice, composer of the final two verses of Where Have All the Flowers Gone, and for many years the advisor to the Libary of Congress' Folk Music Archives, has got to be one of the most underated musicians around. He is the folksingers' folksinger, a good guitarist, great soul, and digger-up of fine old tunes. Shamefully, it's hard to find his stuff on record. This is a good one, the only one that Amazon carries. Check out Blind Fiddler, Hard Times, Bring Back My Johnny to Me, and Rosin the Beau. Google up his best albums, too: Drive Dull Care Away, volumes 1 and 2.
