Kyf Brewer is under-rated.......2006-02-01

For a guy who writes so many different types of music, plays every instrument including bagpipes and just has a good time performing, I can't figure why he's not a superstar. All his albums are wonderful. I love the Beatles influence in this one.

Man, I've got to agree with everybody who told me to find this CD. I'm really into melodies, and this guy writes the best! Kyf and Jumpin' Dave are kings! Not sure which direction this guy is most comfortable with, but, hey, most one-directional albums get boring halfway through, anyway. Not this one - I love every song. Heard you guys on the radio and had to find ya. By the way, it's "SalvaDOR Deli", to the person who reviewed it last - great title! If you read this review, Kyf, you da man! Keep up the good work!!

East Coast Rocker Spreads His Wings.......1999-06-03

Rock fans might recognize Kyf Brewer as the former lead singer of the Ravyns - an early '80s band whose song "Raised on the Radio" was featured in the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and on the corresponding soundtrack.

In 1990, Kyf was the lead singer of the hard rock group, Company of Wolves, a band signed to Mercury Records.

Now Kyf is on his own with his latest solo album Salvatore Deli. The album would appeal to everyone, ranging from the bluesy-sounding "Splattered All Over the Highway" to the catchy chorus in "Everything She Says." There's even a tune with bagpipes called "Donnie Scot." Take a listen!
