Outstanding CD.......2007-06-05

I can't say enough about this CD. It is great to meditate to. If you just want to take a 20 minute nap, it is possible with the help of Steven Halpern's music and sounds on this CD. I have it uploaded to my iPod and on a difficult migraine night I just pop the ear peices in and go to sleep listening to this over and over again on shuffle. Highly recommended!

Effortless Relaxation.......2007-03-11

This is a very relaxing CD. My husband and I play it while we are working outside or relaxing in the lanai and it fits perfectly with the nature sounds around us (birds). We also use it for background music when friends are over. Everyone enjoys it and wants to know what it is. It would be a great tape to play in the quiet of the evening to fall asleep to, or to play in a guests room for a relaxing ambiance. It is very well spent money. Thank you, Steven

I really enjoy every Cd from Steven Halpern, but this one is really my favorite. It always helps me relax and I use it a lot to drift off into a restfull sleep. I put my MP3 on shuffle because I always fell asleep and never remembered hearing the end of the CD. I would highly recommend this for relaxation. It really melts away the stresses of the day.

Dr. Halpern's talents shine on this CD. I had many relaxation CD's, but after hearing this one, I threw away all but this one. Everyone needs relaxation for good health. This CD is the best of the best!

I bought this CD a couple years ago,
I listen to the CD's when I'm stressed out and can't sleep.
Listening to the CD's puts me out right away.

Relaxing, healing.......1999-10-05

Had been shopping at a mall in Sacramento and had aching feet and backache. Played this CD and backache disappeared. I called my friend into the store who had been resting because of aching foot and told her to listen to it. I didn't tell her what it had done for me. Her pain went away also That was in Fall of '97 and I still listen to it for relief of body tension and to relax.

I bought this cd along with another, Indigo Dreams, for myself and my son who had just discovered he had a relapse of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was devastated since he had been in remission for 3 years. He was going into a stem cell transplant and the really excruciating chemo accompanying that treatment, and neither of us was sleeping through the night. The Indigo Dreams cd was not effective-the positive reinforcement was so far from anything he could realize at the time, it made him weep. This cd, on the other hand, worked for both of us immediately. The first time I listened to the whole cd. Every subsequent time, I have fallen asleep before the message was over. It even works for my Corgi, who rolls over on his back and starts to snooze when he hears the tape begin. I recommended the cd to other people in the hospital who were having sleeping problems, and they, too, found it helped them get to sleep. I would give it 5 stars, but the music does not work for me.

I purchased and tried many many audios of hypnosis and guided meditation for stress reduction. This one is the best. Her voice and manner are perfectly tuned. The repetition is fundamental to the healing hypnotic state. The music is brilliantly effective at supporting the goals of the spoken word. I play is audio by iPOD every night. I credit her positive suggestions to cumulative benefit to my every day effectiveness - the only bottom line.

Powerful and effective tool for relaxing.......2007-04-11

I have used it four times already and found it to be incredibly powerful and positive. I have examined the words/text closely and find it to be in harmony with my principles of individual sovereignty and freedom. I like the text and testify that the messages are completely open and true to the interests of the listener alone. The benefits are definitely worth the cost of the CD. It is easy to remain awake, if desired, or to fall asleep quickly and peacefully. At last, here is a voice which can be completely trusted to immediately calm and heal both mind and body.

Less than one year ago, post-heart-surgery anxiety was taking over my life and I was becoming disabled until I found "Just Relax," thank God. My insomnia comes and goes. Stress, caffeine and depression are all factors. I've tried sleeping pills, and all I got were mornings that felt like I'd been drinking booze the night before. Drugs are never an option for me. No thanks. Although the subliminal CDs I've purchased in the past were nice to listen to, they never seemed to help. I ordered Just Relax at the recommendation of a friend who found it beneficial. The instructions in the beginning of the CD are pretty straight forward. I listened to them once, maybe twice. When I played track 2, it took me a few minutes to adjust to hearing someone's voice, but it became a familiar one (like a good friend) very quickly. The next thing I knew, it was morning, and the alarm clock was going off. It works all right. I got a full 8 hours. Just Relax is probably the best CD I've ever used to help me with insomnia. It usually does the trick. Gail Seymour's voice is soft and gently persuasive, suggesting that I relax, and soon I find myself drifting off to sleep. There's soft music in the background, as well as on track 3, which is very easy to listen to night after night. I never seem to tire of it. I highly recommend this CD for anyone with sleep disruptions who wants safe, drug-free rest. I'm really glad I bought it. It's worth every penny.

I have never seen an advertisement saying that "within 30 days you would see results for attracting prosperity" buying this cd. I have it and almost every day I do play it in my office. At the same time I pray and talk to the Universe about prosperity. I believe this CD, by itself, creates a state of mind for prosperity. But if you are having problems in your life that you do not want, for any reason, face it (with love), do not buy this cd hoping that gold will fall from heaven.

I don't see how this CD will prosper anyone's life, let alone add money to their bank accounts. For one thing I don't believe that subliminal messages spoken at below the thresh-hold of consciousness works for me. I got to listen to inspirational songs, hear speeches, do exercises and apply some strategies for turning my life around. Buy this CD because you like the music, but I think anyone who believes that this CD will make themselves rich is just fooling themselves.

Good Music, But Don't Count On Wealth.......2004-03-08

I am an open-minded person, so I bought this and thought I would take it for the word of the advertisement that within 30 days you would see results for attracting prosperity.

Faithfully, everyday I listened to it. I was listening to it 8 hours a day and before going to bed for not only 30 days, but for 45 days without missing a day.

By nature, I am an optimist. I know if you keep looking for the good in things the good shows itself. This month and a half experiment seemed no different than any other time of my life. I have not seemed to attract any prosperity. In that department, some things are even worse with a business deal that I was let out of and my husband getting a 20% pay cut and we still have bills and no real idea of when the money will come to pay for them. No cash windfalls, no new business ventures or promising jobs, pretty much the same story of my life.

I feel hopeful things will turn around as they always do, but this attitude has nothing to do with the CD. Life has ups and downs. I know things could be worse and am grateful for what I have.

The music is soothing and relaxing. I really enjoyed it. I won't be listening to it everyday anymore, but will come back to it when I want some soft background music.

Cloud-like Bliss.......2007-04-22

This CD has really turned my life around. Things have gotten a lot better for me because of it. I had a so-so self esteem before I picked this up. Now I see change in my self outlook. How I use this....I listen to it daily, once or twice. It's become part of my meditation routine. It's very much like giving yourself a great big hug.

I already have a HIGH self esteem, so listening to this CD makes me feel like even more of a goddess than I already do! I feel like I can conquer the world after listening to it...great when going on job interviews. I listen to it in my car all the time and female friends of mine that do have lower self esteems say that it makes them feel uncomfortable. So, I guess it actually works better for people that already do have a high sense of self.

I listened to this CD a few times a few months back and then hastily put it in my CD rack and kept it there. The CD made me uncomfortable. I know it's supposed to help you gain self esteem so I didn't know what was wrong with me but I just couldn't stand listening to it. A few months later I pulled it out to give it another shot. When it hit me-this CD was stirring up my feelings of lack of self esteem. It was making me face my lack of self esteem instead of letting me hide that realization in the dark. It was shedding light on things I refused to face. And it was doing it in a gentle way, drawing out these emotions through the beautiful music so I could face them in a more loving state of mind. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem with the CD but for me it was a real eye opener and now after taking a bath ( it seems to help add to the peaceful feeling and become more connected to myself) I turn on my CD and let the music wash over me like a rainbow of colors and feel peaceful as an infant. It's a wonderful CD that has helped enlighten me on things that I might have never faced if not for this music.

This is a positive self-esteem subliminal CD. It can help children and adults. It is recommended for all age group. The harp is especially beautiful in this composition.

For over 25 years, Steven Halpern has promoted the use of music to reduce stress and enhance health and well-being. This music will take you to a deep place that reminds you of how you felt as a child. Peaceful and safe.

This CD must be listened to while you are all snuggled up in bed with a down comforter up to your chin and a good book in hand. It is one of my favorite CD's to listen to in the winter.

Peace is a place where you feel harmony, contentment and joy. You feel as if you are at one with yourself and the world. This music will make anyone feel joyful and it is one of my favorite CD's. You could actually use this one in Yoga Practice because it makes you more aware and gives you confidence.

Spoil yourself...you are worth it :)

This CD helps you succeed by improving your focus in life. It's too soon for me to see it that is true, but I love the music. Steven Halpern's name appears wherever music therapy is mentioned, and I can understand why. He makes music that's both beautiful and good for the soul.

Enhancing Success.......2000-06-29

First of all, I love all of Steve Halpern's music. I find it peaceful and relaxing. It really helps me to clear my mind before I start on projects where I need focus and concentration. I love to draw, and I find that his music creates at atmosphere that is very conducive to my creativity. I usually play it during my drawing session, because it really flows in & out of my soul during my drawing time. Also works for me when I just need a few minutes of quiet time.

I highly recommend all his cd's.

I love setting my CD player on repeat and have this CD playing very low. It feels (I know this sounds corny) like taking an internal shower. I am a programmer and the music helps me stay focused. Even though others have said that it would put them asleep, it actually helps me stay awake.

Not what I expected.......2003-12-21

I expected to hear music that would help me stay focused and concentrate while reading (as the other reviews state will happen) but I didn't notice much difference, and some of the titles were hard to listen to - annoying actually. Definitely not the resource I'd hoped it would be after reading the other reviews.

Most of the cd sounded like a little kid was playing freely on a little piano/keyboard and then the sound was stretched and made more etheric with a lite angelic chorus in the background. There was one track that sounded as a soft flute or wind instrument of some sort. I was unable to listen to the samples before I purchased the CD but I was not disappointed when I heard it. The CD actually has two versions one has subliminal messages and the other doesn't. The subliminal messages which I did purchase was about three subjects mostly... relaxation, learning, and being able to study better by listening to the music. I wasn't sure why they actually put the music part in there, but then again I don't understand subliminal messages much. The Album alternates between being random yet flowing music to having some sort of direction. The music is a little high pitched so it was enjoyable for me to listen to for about an hour before it started wearing on the ears, but for the most part it is enjoyable.

I started carrying this CD with me - every time I go into a computer lab to work, I pop it in, pull out my headphones - it's one of the best tools I've found for effective concentration.

The Best Tool for Learning (besides a conscious mind).......2000-10-13

I had been interested in Steve Halpern's "stuff" for a long time. So finally I bit the bullet and bought "Accelerated Learning." WOW what a difference. I am a college student who is currently premed and psychology...double major. This tape allows me to sit at my desk, relaxed, stress-free and completely willing, happy, and open to studying. Now, I do not know if any of you remember your college days, but I can guarantee you, "stress free" was not one of the qualities. I even used it on my mom who is also premed. Only I didnt tell her what this tape was. Instead I played it during her study time and about 30 minutes into the cd she says "wow, I cant believe how easy this chemistry is coming to me. subliminal educational messages.......2000-09-09

I bought this CD to play in my high school classroom as my students tested. However, the ad did not say that the CD contains subliminal messages. Luckily, the messages are listed in the cover pages, and they all relate to self esteem and learning. I told my kids what was going on with the messages, and they were excited to try it out. Many students really enjoyed it. I liked the music as I was working on my planning period. It was soothing and it didn't take my focus from my work.

The only truly professional meditation CD I've encoutered over the years. The voice of Allen Holmquist is very pleasant and soothing. A very calming, strenghtening, reassuring, revitalizing experience. A real treasure!
