Jenny... has a way of growing on you. This is comfortable music from this hills of Santa Fe, the sort of front-porch stories put to up-beat acoustic guitar, fiddle and clawhammer banjo. Yet the old-time cowboy tunes like "Hell's Half-Acre" are balanced out by sophisticated urban ballads, "Weather Woman" and the title track, "Jenny Where You Going?" I dont' know about commercial radio, but Jenny's Coming Home with me.

    Tom Adler's new CD of original songs, "Jenny Where You Going", which draws from many Americana, alt. country, folk rock and traditional folk music influences, showcases his songwriting, guitar and banjo playing and singing talents. The album also features some great playing from Frank Reckard (Emmylou Harris' Hot Band) on lead and rhythm electric guitar and Sally Van Meter (The Good Old Persons, Jorma Kaukonen, Kathy Kallick) playing dobro, lap steel and Weissenborn guitars.
