I first bought this on tape in 1988. I wore it out. I was so happy to get it on CD. You'll play it for yourself at first and be moved by the lyrics and the beautiful voice. Then I promise you you will want to play it to your friends and loves. Soft gentle and moving. Love it
Peaceful Child.......2002-03-07
I've had this album for about 5 years. It was given to me when I was pregnant with my first child and it had been a calming influence when I feel the stress of motherhood. The babies both responded to it too. The beauty of the pieces shines throughout the album. I look forward to a follow-up album.
Deep Emotional Songs With Heartfelt Accompaniment.......2002-01-04
Lynn Wedekind obviously digs very deep into her emotions, writing songs that bare her soul, as any true artist should. Her singing and playing simply enhance the depth of the feelings here. It's a wonderful combination of technique and feeling. I don't think of this as "New Age" music at all. Anyone who has truly felt deep emotions can appreciate this music. It would be nice to hear much more from this gifted artist.
