This collection is bound to capture your heart and evoke a tin ear on successive tracks. I found much to like and some duds - easy to skip over.

For the price, this CD is a great bargain. The musical selections, as you might expect, are mixed in quality ranging from extraordinary to so so, the balance being worthwhile and interesting. Sonically the CD is excellent.

I have been listening to great scores for many years and this collection is truly inspirational in so far as the choice of different scores takes you on a journey of listening pleasure matched by only a few collections.The price is incredibly reasonable for hours of listening pleasure. Julie Christensen is known as a kind of torch singer, and has gained a reputation in Southern California as the "funkiest diva." But those who've seen her spunky stage performances might have missed all the insight and great songwriting that's evident on this album.

"Song that Might've Been," for example, is a profound plea to make art that matters, and will resonate with anyone who's ever dared to dream of artistic success. "Mile Zero" & "Maybe Something" also speak to the dream of making it to someplace better, and "love is driving" captures a great moment of shared happiness away from all the pressure of trying to live a dream.

Contrary to what you're told in the product description, this CD was NOT "Co-produced by Ty Tabor(Kings X)." Ty was the executive producer, which is a different role from producer or co-producer. The sound quality of this CD is sub-par, and would have fared much better if Ty had been in the producer's seat. As a fan of King's X and Ty Tabor, I was duped a few years back on another site by the false description that this CD was produced by Ty, and it just wasn't very good, musically and sonically speaking. So, if you're looking at this product after a search for "Ty Tabor" (which is how it came up for me on this site), trust me when I say that this is NOT a must-have for Ty Tabor or King's X fans.
