Product Description
Vampire Music Volume 2 continues the dramatic, mournful and haunting music made by the Gypsies Maladon

The ghostly sounds of tormented, tortured souls wailing in the night, longing for release from the ghastly wraith-like life that grips them as they dwell in the shadows of Castle Dracula where nothing flourishes but death and total devastation.

This album of authentic Carpathian Gypsy melodies, recorded on location at the Borgo Pass in Transylvania, is an true portrayal of life in the land of the Vampires.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A deliciously soft album.......1999-11-26

The album is mostly composed of ballads, as the jazzy "Anos dourados" -one of the latest compositions of Jobim, the touching "Errei sim" and the tender and lovely "Gostoso demais". It also includes a few samba chops as the African-flavoured "Yorubahia". The album finishes with the beautiful song "Canções e momentos", sung in duet with the composer Milton Nascimento, who wrote this song to praise Bethânia's voice.
