Regarding the Soul.......2006-03-05
Like many others, I discovered Dee at an Outdoor Community Concert Series. I was thorougly moved by the beauty of her voice, her talented piano & harp playing, and to learn that she wrote all but one song I heard that night. I didn't know that one person could have so much talent. I bought 3 of her albums that night. It's been 4 years since I first saw her & I still listen to her music. This is my favorite of the 3 albums I bought that day. The first song, "Time", chokes me up every time I hear the lyrics. Her version of "Angle" is better than any I've heard. I always find my spirit lifted by the beauty of the songs on this album. As I listen, I find myself aching to hear that beautiful harp (which she uses too sparingly) and when she is playing it, my heart aches with the beauty of it all. If you are reading this, consider yourself fortunate to have found Dee. I don't know how she hasn't been discovered yet, but at least I did. Enjoy.

Dee has a powerful voice, and when it's unproduced, it's magical. As you can see by the reviews, many of her fans fell in love with her music during a live show. This CD, done in the studio, is a combination of clear, beautiful cuts, and overproduced pop-sounding songs. Get her live CD instead: Home Away From Home. You won't regret it.
Dee's the best.......2002-06-23
An incredible CD. I've seen her several times live and it's always a mesmerizing experience. Her songwriting, arrangements, and singing are unmatched by anybody in today's music scene.
Can't get enough!.......1999-07-14
Regarding The Soul is wonderful. Lots of great tracks on this one. I am ordering her other CD today. I saw her in concert, "Angel" glued me to my chair and I didn't move a muscle until she was finished.
Delicious, evocative, soothing, original!.......1999-04-06
I purchased this CD because of its cover -- and I recall only one other (Sarah McLaughlan's first recording, "Touch") that grabbed me so thoroughly. This is one of my favourite CDs -- the songs wrap themselves 'round me like a soft, warm blanket. This CD has a rare quality: I can use it as gentle background music -- it soothes so deeply -- or I can play it at high volume in my car -- the songs are fabulous to sing to! Dee's sound is truly unique and she plays the harp with exquisite skill. A gem!
