Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Lovely Folk Treatment of Christmas Songs.......2004-12-14

Here's how Carol Swanson of ChritsmasReviews.com described this CD: "December Sky is a rich folk anthem for the season. In truth, this buoyant folk celebration is lightly tinged with pop and country, and it's all good. Everything about December Sky is first class, starting with Robertson's mellifluous voice, a warm alto that comforts like a wrap of the softest alpaca. She sings effortlessly and exudes an underlying joy in what she does. She possesses the sort of voice that creates an instant rapport with listeners of all ages. Lovely, lovely, lovely."
V. Allain - My feelings about this match hers. Robertson's voice brings the familiar songs a new resonance. I love it! I particularly liked hearing some rarer songs like "In the bleak Midwinter." If this remains unavailable on Amazon, I'd recommend going to CD Baby site to buy it.
