    I bought this CD after reading "Freedom Summer" and re-sparking my interest on the social movements of the 1960's.

    The music is amazingly uplifting and clear. I listened to this CD for a month straight in the car and introduced it to my KDG class for Black History Month. The kids love it, and it's great to see they've truly soaked the music in when they start singing the songs over a game of Candyland.

    It's music that adults and kids will both love. If you love the 1960's for the all of the right reasons, you'll love this CD.

    What a moving and engaging album of songs about freedom. I heard "Welcome Table" on NPR and had to order the CD. That has been over a year ago. My children refer to this CD as the "freedom songs". We love to belt out these tunes on the way to school! Now I am back to order more copies for my girlfriends!
