Product Description
Subtitled - White Whale Obscurities. 2003 compilation highlights the progressive Los Angeles-based White Whale Records label as it explores some of the less commercially successful, but no less fascinating, sides that White Whale released during its brief lifespan of 1965-1971. Most of the 24 remastered tracks in this collection are appearing on CD for the first time. Highlights include a previously unreleased on CD song written by the late Warren Zevon ('The Girl's Alright' by The Brothers), two long lost Curt Boettcher produced Lyme & Cybelle tunes featuring Zevon, Kurt Colley's 'Enamorado' featuring members of Millennium on backing vocals, & a long lost Paul Williams penned track, 'The Hangtown Fry'. Rev-Ola. 2003.
