Customer Reviews:
El at his best!.......2004-12-08
It's always the tone isn't it? That's what always runs through me like a gentle current when listening to El's music. The rich harmonies, the heartfelt phrasing, and that beautiful TONE. If you have not had the pleasure of experiencing the world-class Celtic artistry of Mr. McMeen's arrangements, this CD is probably one of the best places to begin your journey. Enjoy!
Stunningly beautiful guitar playing.......2002-03-08
Wow! This music is exquisitely rendered, gloriously recorded, and tenderly wraps you in the warm, sweet intimacy of home. Mellow, rich, gentle, sublimely sensitive, lovingly played. I find this remarkable recording to be deeply satisfying, comforting and spiritually elevating in a way few other recordings are. El McMeen has an extraordinary God given talent, shining warmly and brightly here for those lucky enough to have ears to hear.
