I am not always sure whether people want to read long, in depth reviews, or just short summaries .... this is the latter.

This is simply a beautiful "acoustic-ish guitar" album. Due to the accompanying players, this is a little more "heavy" than (say ) Only, by Tommy Emmanuel, but every bit as good, and boy, is that saying something.

I love the flamenco flavours, tones, dynamics, speed, emotion ... just everything.

Fourth estate had the ability to create killer rock tracks ... Hoedown, etc .... and Dave Beegle has shown that if you are a musician first and foremost, you can conjure up something special whatever your amp is turned up to, Thanks Dave, you have produced an album of sheer beauty.

Once again, Dave Beegle has produced yet another masterpiece. From Loveland, Colorado, Dave spins a magical web of musical influences that span the globe...from Eastern Europe to the hills of Kashmir, all the way back to Andalusia, and then across the Atlantic to America, this trip is a wonderful carpet ride through the evolution of not only the origin of music but the development of a wonderful person and the expression of his art. The album at once reminded me of all the late nights and long hours I put in as a volunteer "roadie" and sound engineer for Dave and Fourth Estate, watching and listening to the spontaneity the he exudes as a player. This collection of work contains all the cool little inspirational things that "just" happen on a spur of the moment, something that seems to have become some what of a regular occurance for Dave. He also has a panache for drawing the critical acclaim and praise from his peers, like: Phil Keagey, Eric Johnson, Beth Quist, Mike Olson, Rene Heredia,and Keith Rosenhagen to name a few. I've been fortunate to be a student and a fan of Dave for years, and as always, I look forward to enjoying this and the future albums that will come my way. He is definately a year closer, to becoming the best "known" guitarist....BRAVO, Dave, BRAVO!
