This collection of claw hammer guitar songs is very soothing to hear. The tunings that are used throughout the CD are somewhat unique to the claw hammer style. Drone strings are used to fill the sound out. The songs tend toward old time style of music. There are no lyrics. Strictly single acoustic guitar picked in the claw hammer style similar to claw hammer bango. If you like Uncle Earl's music you're sure to like this CD. Great to listen to on Sunday mornings with coffee and the Sunday paper. This one has been listened to a lot since it arrived, if it had grooves they'd be worn out.
