Pass The Word Around.......2004-12-05

This singer/songwrite deserves a wider audience cos' once you've heard his music, you are blown away. He is a true poet/musician but can mostly do anything from folk to jazz to soul to blues. This is a delicious album full of moods and melodies and if anything is even better than his early timeless gems. Until a year ago I had no idea who Terry Callier was, then heard Theme From Spartacus, wnet out and bought Timepeace and was hooked. Its so wicked to hear an artist for the first time and get that chill factor. Why didn't I know about Mr callier earlier? Because so-called commercial radio doesn't play off the wall music, or feature different lo-key artists. That's their loss but is also the loss to lots of people who otherwise don't get the opportunity to listen to different vibes. So pass the word on this great singer/songwriter if his music moves you.
