This 1994 release features the "Best Of" Christmas in the Northwest Volumes 1, II & III. The CD features 20 musical selections from top Northwest sings and songwriters. Including Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson of HEART, Carolee Mayne and Terry Lauber, The Brothers Four, Walt Wagner, Tickle Tune Typhoon and Tim Noah.
The original Christmas in the Northwest made it's debut in vinyl in 1985. Volume II was released in 1987, and Volume III was released in 1989. To date, there are 5 CDs in the collection (including this Best of compilation) with Volume 6 available during the 2003 holiday season. To date this project has raised over $600,000 for Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. Net proceeds from the sale of this CD benefit that great Seattle institution, so no child is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay for medical care.
