Customer Reviews:
Pure Acoustic Joy.......2007-03-25
This is definitely one of Bill's best albums. It is so pure-just Bill and his guitar, and a great set of tunes. I have several of Bill's albums, and this one, along with Whistle of the Jay are my two favorites. If you like pure acoustic music with memorable lyrics and tunes, you will want to pick this one up.
His Best. Period........2005-11-21
This is, hands down, the best work of Bill Staines. 'Sweet Wyoming Home' is probably his greatest song, and that's included on this CD...If you want one single disc that represents Staine's best work, this is it. From 'Red Clay Country Blues' to 'Rye Whiskey Joe,' you won't be dissapointed...
Why so overlooked??.......2004-12-12
This is one of my favorite Bill Staines albums! Every song gets
stuck in my head. Don't be turned off by the drab cover work so
unbecoming of most Folk Legacy LP's. Not a bad song on the list.
If you like Bill and other folkies like Lightfoot ect., buy this
and be happy!
