I wasn't expecting to have 4 discs for this price, and the music is a quality selection of film music, giving a good scope of the genre, and a very listenable transfer.

This collection is bound to capture your heart and evoke a tin ear on successive tracks. I found much to like and some duds - easy to skip over.

For the price, this CD is a great bargain. The musical selections, as you might expect, are mixed in quality ranging from extraordinary to so so, the balance being worthwhile and interesting. Sonically the CD is excellent.

I have been listening to great scores for many years and this collection is truly inspirational in so far as the choice of different scores takes you on a journey of listening pleasure matched by only a few collections.The price is incredibly reasonable for hours of listening pleasure. I have two friends who just lost their fathers. Instead of the words that I can't find, I plan to give them this CD. I can't imagine a better gift for contemplation, reflection, settling in with the love that will always be there even after a person is gone. I also plan to give this to my sister who has just become a midwife and searches for ways to explore that other dimension in life. Mark Kelso picked and arranged music we love already and added his own to create a set of piano solos that will work with your soul to remind you of just the right/real things.
