Between Worlds
Editorial Reviews
David "Doc" Cote Celtic Beat Magazine, Fall 1997
Aine Minogue's BETWEEN THE WORLDS transports the soul to the crossover, to the threshold where the temporal and the eternal are know as co-existential, where visible and invisible ( in the words of John O' Donohue)" experience no separation. . ." [for with the music] " We enter the deeper dimension of time where the eternal is hidden. Time is never still; it brings us to new frontiers in every moment, " ("The Threshold," Forward to the album's magnificent liner notes). Ms. Minogue is a sensitive and radiantly inspired harpist/vocalist who allows us to embark with her upon the journey between the worlds, to time unbound wherein all is flow (female as yin, male as yang), wherein fludity and flux enmesh and conjoin with the reaches of masculinity within which each power is fulfilled each in the other, in and out of time at that "threshold moment" between the worlds. Above all, this is an album for meditation, deep introspection, for letting go. O'Donohue's liner notes provide expansive commentary and directive, are true aids to "opening" that spirit may experience nuance and subtlety. If one is willing to pay attention to each cut, paradoxically by allowing each number to blossom in the attentive heart, something akin to a Yeatsian epiphany may occur. I would suggest that one lie down in darkness, allow BETWEEN THE WORLDS to carry one in repose and reverie to whatever may spiritually transpire. Later, both lyrics and notes may be read to allow the rational and mystical to entertwine. Subsequent attention to BETWEEN THE WORLDS will provide "answers" to heretofore unasked questions. From Ms. Minogue's opening song, "Exile," to her "Silence" (cut 3), to "The Grave" (cut 4) to the hypnotic "Mal Bhan Ni Chuilionain" ("Song of Beltaine), on to the title number, "Between the Worlds" (cut 6), with its admonition: "And as you move between the worlds/Such sorrow makes us reel (real)/As first and last they journey same/Through nature's passageway"--one falls under her spell. And there are other surprises too--"Rosemary Faire," a lovely "courting song" duet (with John Arlmond) and marvelous whistling by Seamus Egan (a song whose sardonic lyrics are far removed from those we recognize as the "Scarborough Fair" ballad), a splendid Irish harp rendition of the "Jezebel Carol" (cut 10), and an ethereal climax (cut 11) in which John Lennon's and Paul McCartney's "Across the Universe" brings the force between the worlds home to the heart: "Sounds of laughter, shades of earth are ringing/through my open ears/ Inciting and inviting me/ Limitless undying love which shines around me/like a million seas/And calls me on and on across the universe." Aine Minogue is in good company on this watershed album: The incredible Lindsey Horner on double bass ( now with Susan McKeown and the Chanting House*), the incomparable Seamus Egan (mandolin, nylon string guitar, whistles and flutes), Winnie Horan (onn fiddle), Barry Phillips (on cello), Takaaki Masuko (percussion), Alasdair Halliday and Jeramie Hamond (harmony vocals), John McGann (rhythm guitars), and members of the Arden String Quartet. BETWEEN THE WORLDS is more that a mystical experience. For those willing, it is a journey away from and back to self, out of the world to noumena, to the universe and beyond and back again. Changeless, unchangeable, always changing in spiritual flow!**

A wonderful album!.......2004-10-06
This is an essential new age album that you should not pass up. This was Patrick O'hearns best album before his new album surpassed it. This is probably Patricks most space oriented of his electronic albums to date. It's the dark electronic, rainy music that makes me love this album. Every song on here is a breakthrough for this extremely talented musician. Some songs I remember hearing when I was very young.
Rainmaker is a very haunting song with an intense misty atmosphere with some ceramic percussion. Sky Juice is a breathtaking song with very electronic synths and some jet sound effects with some thumping beats and a cool bass. However that is nothing like the next one. Cape Perpetual is beyond any word I can describe about this song. It's a very spooky track. It starts of with some strange breezy wind instruments and some thundering sounds in the distance. At about 30 seconds there are some synthesizer hums that fade in. The sound of the synth humming almost scared me at first listening. It then becomes a dark very space oriented song with ceramic percussion and thundering jet sound effects. I could close my eyes listening to this song and imagine myself traveling on the Orient Express through oriental space. This song alone makes this album a five star. Gentle Was The Night is a very beautiful song with just mostly synths. This is a great song. Fire Ritual is a very pop oriented song and some vocal doodling here and there. This is probably the brightest song on here. 87 Dreams Of A Lifetime lives up to the title. This is a very stunning and could rank as one of his best 80s tracks ever. It starts with just some ambient synths and the synths get louder and at about a minute into the song the real music begins. This is a haunting song with a catchy rhythm and a space jazzy stmosphere. This is my second favorite off this album. Dimension D is a very space oriented song with some haunting sound effects and a very dark ambient atmosphere. Forever The Optimistic is a pop oriented song with great electronic bass, a great hook and some synth tinklings throughout the song. I almost cryed when I first heard this song and today I consider this song a new age classic. Journey To Yoroba is another haunting song. It has lots of ceramic percussion and ambient synths. I love the drum loop to this song. The closing title track is great with more great synths and cool drums.
All in all I rank this album as one Mr. O'Hearns strongest masterpieces to date.
It's hard to really say how much I love this album because it really stimulates imagination in a way that none of his other albums can.
In fact this album for a time is almost like the soundtrack my high school years because it reflects lonely I feel sometimes. In fact I strongly recommend this album to all who love music to listen to while thinking. It's very intelligent music that should be enjoyed by all generations.
Well that's all I can say.
Bye!Bye!

Abbath shows he's STILL got it!.......2007-05-31
I have no idea where some reviewers are getting a Motorhead comparison here... they need to lay off the pipe, I think.
Except for the absence of crazy fast blastbeat-type drumming, this very well could have been a new Immortal album. The vocals are vintage Abbath, as are the lyrics, but there's less trem-picking and blasting on the drums, so I'm guessing he didn't want to "dilute" the legendary(and deservedly so) Immortal legacy. No worries - this album kicks major ***!
My favorite song is "Warriors" - hands down. And horns up! Abbath shows he is still relevant in the metal genre - so listen up, you young guns - Abbath ain't done yet!
An interesting twist........2007-04-16
I didn't really know what to expect when I bought this album. I knew i was a fan of Immortal's last album 'Sons Of Northern Darkness'. I figured it would be something along those lines. I was mistaken, and delightfully surprised. 'I' features members from Immortal, Enslaved, and Gorgoroth. It is heavy metal with a hint of black metal, and the crisp blackend vocals of Immortals own Olve Eikemo (Abbath). The songs are very catchy and extremely unique. It's a must for any fan of black metal or any one seeking out something new.
Yes! Yes! This rocks!.......2007-03-25
Four years after his old band dissolved, ex-Immortal frontman Abbath (whose real name is Olve Eikemo) has moved on and founded a solo project. This project, which is simply called I, is a supergroup of sorts because it's comprised of members of Immortal (Abbath and drummer Armagedda), Enslaved (guitarist Ice Dale), and Gorgoroth (bassist TC King). I's debut album is aptly entitled "Between Two Worlds" because it draws heavy influence from two bands -- Motorhead and Immortal (only without blast beats) -- and sounds like a mish-mash of classic rock, traditional metal, black/dark metal, speed metal, and (to a lesser extent) thrash. The result is one rockin' good time!
Most of the songs here are composed of only a single riff, but don't let that give you the wrong impression -- the songs never become overly repetitive or stale. "Between Two Worlds" features some of the hookiest, most well-constructed, and best guitar licks put to wax by any band in 2006. They are super groovey, meaty, contagious, heavy yet simultaneously melodic, and they build off of each other and flow together remarkably well. Then, to make an already good album even better, the band add controlled and usually melodic guitar solos (which are reminiscent of Iron Maiden and Megadeth), thumping drum beats, prominent bass lines, and occasional melodic vocals to offset Abbath's signature, throaty black metal croak.
The album shoots out of the starting gate with an ultra-catchy and oh-so-Motorhead-esque tune by the name of "The Storm I Ride." Abbath does his best Lemmy impersonation over a strong, propulsive riff that will have listeners everywhere tapping their feet in rhythm, and a tasty clean solo near the end is the icing on this song's cake. "Warriors" is a significantly slower tune that is more in line with classical metal and boasts two stellar solos (the first of which is almost beautiful.) Next, the title cut is a superbly rhythmic (albeit overlong) number, and is backed by a catchy, galloping rhythm and a ripping, ascending solo. Then, after that, we are treated to the positively blistering "Battalions," which is filled with rocketing tempos, crunchy thrash riffs, and beeping bass notes. "Mountains" is another catchy rocker, and is highlighted by a jaw-droppingly great guitar solo (the album's best!). Moving along, "Days Of North Winds," has more strong, chug and churn riffs and a blazing solo; "Far Beyond The Quiet," is a very open and majestic-sounding piece with effective tempo changes, nice melodic leads, wailing solos, and grumbling bass notes; and lastly, "Cursed We Are," the record's thrashiest track, is fueled by double-kick drums and gobs of fiery, breakneck riffing.
"Between Two Worlds" is far different than anything Immortal ever put out, so it may take some getting used to if you are a longtime fan of that band and expecting this album to continue in that vein. But even though it may not be the follow-up to "Sons of Northern Darkness" that you were expecting, there is still a lot to enjoy here. If you like music with an abundance of gripping, headbanging riffs, excellent solos, melodic hooks, infectious grooves, and memorable songs, you are sure to agree.
These guys know what their doing!!.......2007-01-19
Abbath, was quoted as sayin," I had all these riffs layed down, but they would'nt have worked for Immortal at the time." So, we get "Between Two Worlds and I'm glad Abbath found a way to get those "riffs" out there. This imo, is an excellent rock/metal album. Quality musicianship, top production and songwriting. Arve Isdal(guitarist with Enslaved) plays on this and o e reason why I got this. Imo, Arve is really not appreciated in the metal world for his guitar virtuosity. One of the best working today. Pick this up!
METAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2006.......2007-01-19
Superb Metal album!! At first I was put off by the commercial leanings of this album, expecting to hear IMMORTAL. But, after repeated listening, it grew on me in a big way. I should have given this 5 STARS!! So far it's the best Metal album I've heard from 2006.
Some are saying it's not IMMORTAL. Those IMMORTAL ripsaw power chords are there. Only they sound more mainstream. And the growling dark winter vocals and lyrics are there. It sounds like IMMORTAL to me. But, with a more straight ahead feel to the Metal. I think maybe Abbath is looking for a more commercial appeal to his sound. Black Metal is basically a fringe audience. When you can play this good, who wouldn't want to appeal to a bigger audience? It works for me in a big way. I love IMMORTAL. They're my second favorite Black Metal band next to EMPEROR. But, I love the direction Abbath is taking with this music. This is the best solid straight up Metal album I've heard in a long time. And I hope there's going to be more.
IMMORTAL lyrics and vocals, yes. BATHORY songs, yes.
MOTORHEAD? No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I don't get the MOTORHEAD comparison. I love MOTORHEAD, but the only track that sounds even vaguely like MOTORHEAD is maybe THE STORM I RIDE. Maybe.

Beautiful, Accessible and Packed with Music.......2004-05-02
I'm usually not a huge fan of the last five decades or so of musical composition -- too much cacophany and obscurity, as if any sort of recognizable theme were a thought crime. This album has helped me grow more comfortable with several composers I did not previously appreciate. It's not easy music, but it's a wonderful, relaxing, and quite melodic listening experience rather than an intellectual exercise. Some pieces, such as the Eldin Burton Sonatina, are now among my favorites.
As an added bonus, this is a long CD -- 20 pieces, taking up 1.3 hours to be exact. So you get a lot for your investment. There's bound to be something in there you like.
Beautiful.......2004-01-29
This CD is beautiful and haunting! I highly recomend it. It is very relaxing. I found this CD here on Amazon by accident, and ended up ordering it after I listened to the sample songs. Order it! It's great! :)

More relaxing New Age / Celtic fusion from Aine Minogue and friends.......2006-10-01
Similar in style to Minogue's previous release, "The Mysts of Time," this album features lush, laid-back renditions of Celtic and Celtic-inspired tunes, sung in a light, whispery voice by Minogue or gently plucked out on her Irish harp, with vocal and instrumental backing by a variety of guest artists. Mysterious, delicate, ephemeral, spiritual - all these words are applicable to this music, which attempts to evoke the invisible, the unworldly, that which cannot be seen but which has subtle and unavoidable influence on worldly affairs. A few of the tracks on "Between the Worlds" are livelier than that, such as "Mal Bhan Ni Chuilionain" and the "Jezebel Carol," and provide a nice change of pace. But the predominant mood of this CD is lyrical and dreamy. Joining Minogue are vocalists John Arimond, Alasdair Halliday and Jeramie Hammond; fiddle player Winnie Horan; percussionist Takaaki Masuko; cellist Barry Phillips; guitarist John McGann; Seamus Egan on guitar, whistles and flutes; Lindsey Horner on double bass; Daniel Orlanski on steel cello and didgeridoo; and the ArdenString Quartet. Minogue offers more such music on her subsequent album, "Celtic Meditation Music," but without vocals. For other relaxing, Celtic-inspired music, try also the work of harpist/vocalists Kim Robertson and Loreena McKennitt, and harpist Lisa Lynne.
Where The Temporal And Eternal Merge.......2006-02-09
Aine Minogue has one of the most enchanting otherworldly voices you'll ever hear and her skillful mastery of the Irish harp is without equal. 'Between The Worlds' is one of those very special albums/CD's that don't come around very often. Simply the best Celtic music I've ever heard and I've heard and own alot!
This CD is now OOP, so purchase it used while it's still available. This really is one you don't want to miss.
A Perfect Supplement to The Mysts of Time.......2001-05-27
Anyone who loved the Mysts of Time by Aine Minogue - and who didn't? - will also love Between Worlds. It has that same ethereal feel, the same mystical musical background, and the same lovely, soprano voice floating all over each Celtic aire.
The only real difference between the albums is that this one has a less cohesive theme. Not every piece of music fits cleanly into the category "Celtic", nor does each song fit perfectly into an album "theme". The inclusion of Across the Universe by the Beatles stands out as an example of that.
But the one thing all of these pieces have in common is their beauty and heavenly, angelic style. Like the Mysts of Time, this album fills your home with grace and a holy, crystalline sound.
The song "Rosemary Fair" is a particularly gorgeous surprise on this album. Sung as a duet with a silky-voiced gentleman, this song is the original version of Simon and Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair. The words are different, but that beautiful melody is the same. I think you'll love it.
Probably, you'll love the whole album.
Aine Minogue.......1999-12-22
Though I found the arrangement, Fyvie Castle (track 7) annoying, and the whistling and the tenor in Rosmary Faire (track 8) ill-suited, (it would have been superb with just Aine's voice), this is an album worth owning. Aine has an angelic voice that blends beautifully with accompanying instruments.
A unique ethereal sound........1999-01-02
I heard a track from this album in a store and inquired about the artist. She has a haunting, breathy, ethereal sound, reminicient of Enya. Her vocals are exceptional and she accompanies herself with the harp. Her rendition of the Beatles classic "Between the Worlds" is outstanding.

This was the fastest selling cd at Kripalu, selling out in just a few hours at the Kripalu Store during a Kirtan workshop with Daniel Paul on Tabla's and the incredible vocals of Jai Uttal. The music of these men truly changed my life that weekend...You become "held" in incredibly high, positive notes of ecstasy that allows your soul to sing, enveloping you in a blissful warm glow. Ecstatic chant, or kirtan is the best addiction - I LOVE this cd and all the others by Jai Uttal and Daniel Paul!

Album Description
"Walk Between Worlds" consists of 10 compositions of flowing melodies on Native American flutes combined with strings, pianos, guitars, harps, cellos and traditional drumming.
"Walk Between Worlds" is currently being heard on radio stations across the US. It debuted at #2 in the New Age Voice (NAV) "Airwaves Top 100" chart in the June 1999 issue reflecting radio airplay and stayed in the top 10 of this chart for 3 consecutive months.
This is Golana's second recording of Native American flute compositions. It features 10 instrumental tracks that tell a story of spiritual growth through healing and self-acceptance. "This album is cathartic. It can be used for prayer and meditation but my intention is that it be an instrument of emotional healing," he says.
Native American flute music is often improvised but on this recording each piece, with the exception of "Standing at the Gate", has a distinct verse and chorus. "I want the listener to hear the melody continuing to play in their head long after the music stops," explains Golana'.
"Spirit at Palatki", which was composed in Sedona while standing before an ancient rock art pictograph of Kokopelli, resonates with the mythical flute player's powerful healing abilities. The title track, "Walk Between Worlds" navigates the bridge between the material and spiritual worlds. "The Longing" expresses the desire to fulfill one's destiny. Echoes of mysterious journeys underscore "Dreaming With You". The theme of facing the dark night of the soul reverberates throughout "Midnight". "The 7th Direction" takes the listener on a circular journey around the Medicine Wheel creating a spiral to enter the heaven 'within'. "Wisdom of the Marks" reflects life lessons in learning patience. "Raven's Song" explores the many facets of self-acceptance. "Healing Touch" focuses on the therapeutic and restorative powers of Native American flute music. The final track, "Standing At the Gate" is for calling one's inner silence.

Spectacular! The Spirit Moves Thru this CD mightily!.......2000-07-30
Beautiful, how can you describe in words that which flows like water, clings to your pores like a sweet mist of Dawn, and awakens your senses to the Magnitude of The Great Spirit beauty.
Buy it, Support it, make it a part of your daily life ritual, you will not regret it!
Absolutely beautiful music.......2000-07-25
I first heard a track from "Walk Between Worlds" early one morning on a "Sunrise" program on public radio, and since we purchased this CD, it has become our very favorite. Scott Cunningham's Native American flute music is absloutely beautiful. Whether accompanied by traditional drum, cello, guitar, or harp, EVERY song is well done, and just... BEAUTIFUL. If you are not a "New Ager", or not "into" Native American pursuits, don't be put off. There is nothing "strange" about this music at all. It is beautiful music for all people, all ages.

Sprague's Best.......2007-07-15
I had never really thought much of Billy Sprague's pop music until I heard this recording and it is definitely his best. Not only that but it is among the best contemporary Christian albums ever made. It isn't always easy to translate emotions like the loss of a loved one into good music, but Billy does just that in an impressive way. I agree with the other reviewers here that every song is good, even the lighter more pop ones. This album also brings back memories for me personally because I made a mixed tape for my then girlfriend (now wife) which included the song "Two-Way Street". We had only been dating a year at that point but the tape was full of memorable songs we both liked. Now fourteen years later that old tape is full of emotion and more memories. I can only imagine what emotions Billy Sprague feels when he looks back to that time.
Billy's Passionate Gift To Honor RosaLynn & Press On.......2005-03-30
I bought this CD strictly for a song being played on the radio called "Heaven is a long Hello" I knew the general meaning of the song but I didn't know at the time the personal meaning for Billy. When I received the CD I actually loved every song which is unusual. You usually only like 2 or 3 at most. The compassion and emotion that poured out of this man's voice made me go back and pull the insert to find out what inspired him. It was then that I found out that his Fiance had passed away 2 days following a tragic car accident. The final letter she wrote him was a plea for him to press on. Because of the devastation of her loss it took 3 years but he used this CD not only to "Press On Mi Amor" but to honor her. The end of February my mom's cousin called me from N.C. and said that his daughter, who is a GA state trooper here in GA was planning to get married in April and he asked me to try to make it so that I could see every one again. A week later he called my mom and told her the wedding had been cancelled. Her fiance, who appearantly been a Sheriff's Deputy served an arrest warrant on a man. He was wearing his protective gear and had his weapon pulled on the man but was unaware of the man's father hiding in the hallway. He was shot in the face and killed. I bought another copy of this CD and sent it to her in hopes that she could identify with the experiences and emotions that Billy went through. God Bless anyone who has gone through something like this. My prayers are with you.
He shares his personal journey.......2004-08-06
Billy Sprague's fiance's death devastated him. The songs on this CD take you through his journey from grief to healing. The notes on the insert give wonderful insights into his songs. Every song is wonderful--and it's rare that I like every song on a CD. This is one you'll want to listen to from start to finish many, many times and one you'll want to share with your friends. The style of the music is contemporary, a style I think everyone can appreciate since it's not distinctly rock, country, or other labelled style. I highly recommend this recording.

Better, but not the best........2005-09-17
Still not their best stuff. For the die hard fans only.
Strong content, but for completists only.......2002-03-09
Although these are two of the best tape-only releases Ozric ever put out (_There Is Nothing_ also representing), this collection is largely contained in the two-CD compilation _Afterswish_. You may reconsider the value of owning this after realizing 9 of the 15 songs on SGW and almost half of TIN are contained on Afterswish - and three more songs, "White Rhino Tea", "Kick Muck" and "Wreltch," are largely indistinguishable from their counterparts on _Pungent Effulgent_. Add to that no liner notes, and you get a thoroughly unsatisfying package.
Those complaints aside, _SGW_ is an unforgettable aural journey, and one of the most unique pieces of music Ozric ever put out. One of the things you do get to hear are the nature sounds as intros the songs, which makes it cohesive to listen to. "Yaboop Yaboop", "Code For Chickendon," "Its a Hup Ho World" and especially "Omnidirectional Bhadra" with its wicked "chipboard sitar" jazzy solo - showcase the poppier, more mystical side of Ozric's music and provide the perfect capstone to the first phase of their music, unlike the transitional _Pungent_ which balances both their increasingly guitar-driven phase with the more balanced, dub-meets-ambient-new-age-jazz approach favored in their older albums. _TIN_ is more fragmentary and forgettable, but also has some nice moments, such as the ethereal flanged-out duo "Tidal Otherness" and "Floating Seeds," along with the drifting closer "Health Music".
If you've been dying to get a hold of some of this stuff, and you don't own _Afterswish_, this is probably the double-album to own. Its excellent, mellow, often compelling stuff.
Their two best cassette era releases.......2001-08-19
It's nice to see that both Sliding Gliding Worlds and Bits Between the Bits are availble again. I missed out when those two were available (separately) on Dovetail. For me, this is by far the two best albums the Ozrics had released during the cassette era. The ethnic influences are seriously beginning to show, they were starting explore more excellent synth sounds (where like on Ersongs and Tantric Obstacles, they seemed to use mostly Minimoog-like synth leads and VCS-3 type bubble sounds), apparently the band had obtained some (then) new digital synthesizers to add to their analog sounds, and the addition of new keyboards helped the band expand on their sounds. Of course the addition of John Egan, who is still with them to this day, obviously helped in a more ethnic bent to the band. The Bits Between the Bits, on the other hand, is a collection of leftover material, but they aren't reject cuts that should never have been released, but top quality Ozric material that sounded like it was recorded specifically for this release. Some of the songs featured on Sliding Gliding Worlds are "Fetch Me the Pongmaster", "The Dusty Pouch", "Atmospheric Underslunky", "Mae Hong Song", "Kick Muck", and "White Rhino Tea". "Kick Muck" is exactly the same as the one on Pungent Effulgent, but it includes a cool ambient outro not found on Pungent. "White Rhino Tea" here is the original which I actually prefer over the one on Strangeitude. The Bits Between the Bits features what I feel is some of the Ozrics best cassette era material like "Eye of Adia", "Sparkling Oasis", "Symetricum" and "Floating Seeds". If it weren't for the last couple of cuts, "Puff Puff on a Chuff Chuff" and "Health Music", I would put The Bits Between the Bits as their ultimate cassette-era release, but it's not too far behind from Sliding Gliding Worlds or even There is Nothing. It's hard to believe that the Ozrics put out such great music when they were still releasing privately issued cassettes without the benefit of a record label, and releases like Sliding Gliding Worlds and The Bits Between the Bits prove that!
Don't miss this opportunity!.......2001-01-04
Here it is...a long awaited chance to snatch up a copy of the album Sliding Gliding Worlds. I've got mine and my Ozric collection is finally complete. But this is more than just a collector's item! Both discs offer some solid classics by the Tentacles that weren't selected for the compilation Afterswish.
SGW has six tracks not featured on 'Swish, including the original versions of Kick Muck (found later on Pungent Effulgent minus the ambient outro) and White Rhino Tea (completely revamped on Strangeitude). SGW, the fifth tape the Ozrics released to their underworld in the 80s, has some of their strongest originals, and has been impossible to find before this reissue! All of the usual Ozric genres are represented: 'Floats' -- Chickendon, Hup Ho World; 'Reggae' -- Dusty Pouch; 'Rips' -- Guzzard, Kick Muck; 'Nature' -- Green Island; and, of course, 'Whats' -- Loafjaw...
Bits has its gems as well. Koh Phangan is, in my opinion, the CD highlight (and not available on Afterswish!). The track takes you to the far east and perfectly melds the worlds of acoustic and distorted sound. Roly's bass-playing is such a presence on a number of the tracks, Koh and Floating Seeds to name a couple. He could solo for an entire song and still leave you feeling like there was a firm bassline throughout.
Grab this compilation while you can....and if you miss out, happy hunting!

Walk Between Worlds Music review.......2005-07-13
Throughly enjoyable, beautiful, soothing. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys music.
