my goodness i love this song. It's so inspirational and powerful. I've never heard anything like it before. It has a beat that no other song could possibly have. It's the best song I've ever heard.

Sunchyme has been used extensively in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Swimming Trials. The Afro style beat and rhythm was so appropriate for the occasion - so uplifting, I could dance and listen to it all day. Great music for aerobics too.

Overlooked gem!.......2000-04-05

This song is a perfect club tune that has been largely overlooked. It's actually very rare to come across the song without looking for it. Pete Tong (Radio 1 DJ, London) used it in one of his Ministry of Sound mixes, and I've been hooked ever since! It's a classic dance mix of the song "Life In A Northern Town" by the Dream Academy which was originally released in the early 80s. One website calls "Sunchyme" the most overlooked gem of 1998. I completely agree!

Mysteriously amusing........2000-02-17

The song has a blend of foreign and domestic sounds and has no set mood. The song has no words and is largely instrumental. Beautiful.

International Style Music with Great Beat.......1999-07-25

Sunchyme is the music heard on the AccuVue Eye Contacts TV commercials. This song makes you feel like you are not listening to normal mainstream type music, because of its foreign style. It also does not focus on a negative or positive topic (such as love or death). Even so it has a very uplifting tune.
