I don't play it often but man when I'm PMSing and in a certain mood, this album hits the spot like no other - and I ordinarily HATE metal!

This band was the first girl rock band which had only female vocalists who didn't play instruments. Some people have tried to guess who were those who played instruments. But does it really matter? The most important thing is that these girls had great voices!!! This one was actually the first album I ordered from France's Amazon.

The first songs "Conqueress" and "By the Balls" give a great first impression about this band. "I Wish You Were a Beer" was a video song and it is a great song. These women are strong and it is well shown in the lyrics. There's great lyrics about how strong women are...and why shouldn't be? They really are stronger than men. The songs like "Speed Queen", "Soultaker", "Dark Ships", and "Taste the Flesh" are strong and great. If you are a man, you should use your sense of humor. If you are a woman, you should get strength from these lyrics. All the songs are full of great lyrics and the record is great also musically but I think the riffs could have been better in some songs. CSFH is defintely a cult band...they made only one album...still it is one of the greatest female rock albums ever. Taste it!

Okay, I couldn't resist the name, so I bought it. This is worth listening to one or two days a year. It's bad-attitude garage-quality feminism, and when I'm not laughing, I'm muttering, "Yeah, you tell 'em." Much more likely to appeal to the female listener, as you guys just won't get into the mirror image of the common metal stance of "broads are for s*******, if they behave themselves." Group vocals over good instrumentation, no particular lead singer, give this an unsettling sound: we're all so trained to listen for the one voice! If you want something different but good, go for it.
